Updates to the Wound in the World (Spoilers) - Rares, Pets, Toys and Bases

In the latest
PTR build
, the Wound in the World received some new updates, hinting at bigger content updates.

Zone Updates
Zone-wise, only a few aspects changed from the last build. Sargeras' Sword, which was just a pink cube in the last build, now uses the same model as it does on the live servers, but without the red corrupted effects. This is likely as a result of the
retirement of the Artifact Weapons
(Spoilers). The Alliance camp was also updated to a more "under construction" state, now with flight paths added and new dialog on some key NPCs, including
Arcimago Khadgar
.
Rare Mobs
This build also added more life to the otherside lifeless zone, including four Rare spawns. Three of those rare spawns resemble the models used on the
datamined Silithid mounts
, so it is likely that they might play a part in acquiring those new mounts. Currently they always reward 0
Risorse per l'Enclave
and sometimes
Gloria del Valoroso
Those rares also seem to be tameable, as discovered by
WoWPetopia
.
Pets and Toys
This build also added two new pets and a toy:
Unevolved Silithid Grub
, only found in the Pet Journal, with the source listed as "Silithus: The Wound"
Scorpid Skitterer
, only found in the wild around Silithus, but still not in the Pet Journal. Currently can't even be battled against.
Doomsayer Robes
, listed currently as a drop from "World Creatures" will likely also be linked to the event to happen in the Wound.
