Certain players have been receiving an advertisement for the Shadowlands Pre-Patch event on YouTube video ads. These ads mention that the pre-patch event is available in-game.

reported on the r/WoW subreddit yesterda
y, and some users have also reporting seeing it on Facebook. It is important to remember that these ad deals are usually set up months in advance, and once distributed, these become close to impossible to change.
