Secret Mythic Jailer Phase Nerfed? - Patch 9.2 Datamined Hotfixes

In hotfixes pushed late last night, an interesting spell referencing the Jailer appears to have been nerfed. Could this hint at a secret phase? We're speculating if a secret phase exists and what could be in it!

The Hotfixes
March 24th Hotfix
Yesterday night, Blizzard pushed an interesting set of hotfixes which nerfs the absorb of
Scudo della Vita Dirottata
by 66% and the heal by 25%. This spell directly references the Jailer and Azeroth, but has not been seen in the game.
Note: Wowhead's tooltip shows the absorb as the unscaled values, but the ingame tooltip now shows the absorb as
6.8 million
after the hotfixes.

This is not the first time that this spell has been tuned in the last week. On March 21st, the shield portion was nerfed ~9%.

The Jailer draws Azeroth's energy into himself, healing himself for 4% of maximum health every 1 sec for 8 sec and creating a shield that absorbs 3286930000 damage.
On March 15th, alongside a
large amount of Mythic Jailer
tuning before guilds reached the encounter, this spell was also included in the push of hotfix tuning. The absorb was nerfed by 47.5%.

Mythic Secret Phase Speculation?
Does this mean there is a Mythic Secret Phase? I'm personally leaning yes. The first set of tuning hotfixes for
Scudo della Vita Dirottata
was pushed alongside Mythic Jailer tuning, and the spell directly references the Jailer and Azeroth, but the spell doesn't show up anywhere else in the game currently, including on Normal and Heroic Jailer. In addition, this spell was tuned again yesterday right as guilds are getting closer to the 0% on Mythic Jailer.
The
Scudo della Vita Dirottata
spell will now heal the target for 24% and apply an absorb shield of 6.8 million after the hotfixes. The Jailer has 128 million health and if this buff applies to him, then it'll heal him for 24% health (~30.7 million) and then apply a 6.8 million absorption shield for a total of
37.52 million
.
What could happen in this last phase? We have nothing concrete, but there are two unused spells that reference the Jailer which could be new mechanics in this secret phase.

- The Jailer marks a player for death, inflicting 20 Shadow damage every 2 sec, growing in intensity over 30 sec and killing the player upon expiration. Upon removal, the player releases dark energy at nearby locations that apply Death Sentence to players struck. If the energy fails to hit at least one player, Death Sentence is applied to all players. Gaining two applications of Death Sentence kills players instantly.

- The Jailer swings his flail in a huge arc, inflicting 1236560 Physical damage split evenly between all players in front of him. All players hit are knocked back. The main target takes 500% increased Physical damage for 50 sec.
Death Sentence?
The

is interesting because it seems to be a relatively simple mechanic, a ramping DoT that exponentially pandemics across the raid that represents a hard enrage to what could be a final stand of the boss. It doesn't look like this ability was ever present in the dungeon journal, but was added and changed on the PTR
when other Jailer encounter spells
were being iterated on as well. However, this could just be an old spell that was added and abandoned before anything happened.

Debuff Description
- Inflicts increasing Shadow damage every 2 sec. Instantly slain upon expiration or reapplication of Death Sentence. Unleashes a volley of 2 Death Sentence upon removal.
If this spell is real, this DoT will exponentially scale across the entire raid. If the debuff starts on 1 person, it'll need to be dispelled after 30 seconds or the player will die. When the debuff is dispelled, two players must catch and soak the debuff and gain it themselves. After 30 seconds, these two players must be dispelled and 4 other people must soak the debuff, and so on. Using the rough exponential timeline of 1, 2, 4, 8, 16, this seems to result in a soft-enrage of 2 minutes and 30 seconds.
Can a 20 man Mythic raid kill 37.52 million health in just over 2.5 minutes with minimal mechanics? That seems very likely, especially if the
Dono di Azeroth
buff is present.
Is this a mechanic in a possible secret phase?
Meteor Cleave?
As pointed out by
Wowhead user hehrseite
in the comments, there's another interesting spell called
Fendente di Meteora
. This is a simple split cleave of physical damage and forces a tank swap. If this is part of the secret phase, it's about a 60k physical damage across all 20 players and reduced by armor.
Interestingly, this ability has a Mythic flag under Effect #2, but it's no concrete indication if this is part of any encounter or abandoned.
This mechanic seems really simple, but could be a small addition to add slightly more complexity in terms of positioning and healing throughput (and of course getting knocked into a hole). So will this be a mechanic in a possible secret phase?
Conclusion
Nothing is confirmed, but it's fun to speculate about a possible secret phase on Mythic Jailer.
If this is indication of a Mythic secret phase, that sounds awesome and we'll have to see what mechanics are present. If this actually isn't a shield for a Mythic secret phase, then why is Blizzard tuning this and where does this spell show up?
In past secret phases, Blizzard seems to like simple to understand mechanics where the difficulty is going in completely blind -- similar to the Cho'gall phase on Mythic Imperator Mar'gok or the Heart Chamber on Mythic N'Zoth -- as they typically occur at end of encounters, so they want them to be easy to understand, and once you understand them should be relatively easy to execute. These two mechanics seem to fit a similar niche, simply handle the Magic DoT pandemic, while dealing with a split cleave, but other mechanics could easily replace them as well.
