We've datamined a cutscene from Patch 9.2 Eternity's End - Reforging the Helm.
SPOILERS!!! Possible Major Story Spoilers Ahead.
In this cutscene, the Helm of Domination has been reforged in the Crown of Wills:
Behold the Crown of Wills, that which sought to bind us will be made anew.
Imbued with the strength of those who defied Domination.
Major characters from the expansion look on as the Primus refashions the helm, including Sylvanas now sporting a
new model
reflecting her Ranger-General legacy instead of the influence of the Maw. The Helm of Domination, a source of so much corruption and tragedy on Azeroth, is now reforged into something fresh--and the Jailer's legacy presumably comes to an end.
An interesting naming parallel, as covered in our
datamined dialogue speculation post
, is that the name "Crown of Wills" was previously used for a Classic quest (
La Corona della Volontà
) where the helm allowed one to resist possession--and Sylvanas was the last known owner of this helm!
