Hero Talents are an extension of the Talent system designed to explore class fantasy with a third talent tree, separate from your class and specialization. Blizzard has revealed an early preview of Hero Talents coming in the next expansion, The War Within.

When you or a friendly player runs over the object, one of two effects are granted:

Holy Bulwark, which grants a scaling absorb shield based on max health or

Sacred Weapon, which adds a Holy damage proc to spells and abilities.

What is spawned and granted is based on the casting Paladin and not on anything the friendly player does.
