Patch 9.2 Warlock Tier Set Helmet Appearance Updated

The
first version
of the Shadowlands Patch 9.2 Warlock tier helmet generated criticism due to resembling a real-world hate group, prompting Blizzard to redesign it, though today's change may not have gone far enough to erase the similarities.
The new version (top) adds an ornate colored band around the back of the helmet.
The original version (bottom) lacks that band, further resembling the hood
created by Hollywood in 1915
, which was adopted by the
Second Klu Klux Klan
and quickly became synonymous with the organization.
While the front doesn't look any different, the back of the original version was criticized for resembling the white peaked hood of the Klu Klux Klan, prompting Blizzard to tweet that it was unintentional and would be adjusted in a future build, and while the addition of this colored band does help break up the texture, it's questionable as to whether it does enough to erase the similarities or if further changes will come in a future build.
While this change may not entirely disassociate from the
shape
of the helmet, peaked hats aren't exactly unique to the hate group either, and other color tints seen below do at least help avoid the resemblance.
