Patch 8.1.5 Brings Back a Separate Battleground Queue for Characters with XP Off
13/03/2019 alle 14:43
Historically, Blizzard had separate queues for characters with XP gains turned off ever since the feature has existed since usually those characters are twinks and caused an imbalance in Battleground due to their gear advantage. In Legion, with the advent of character templates, all queues were merged, since it wasn't possible for XP off characters to have any significant gear benefits over non-twinks.
Now, in Battle for Azeroth, this has changed. With patch 8.1.5, characters with XP gains turned off will once more have their separate queue for battlegrounds, as gear is once again significant in Battlegrounds with the removal of gear templates.
With the introduction of stat templates in Legion, players with XP-gains turned off couldn’t get a significant advantage over players with XP-gains enabled, so we combined the brackets for low-level battlegrounds.
Now that we’ve removed stat templates, we’ve returned XP-Off players to their own bracket.
