High Inquisitor Whitemane started out as simply a young girl with grand dreams. Playing in
Hillsbrad Foothills, she grew up playing games of purifying monsters and slaying imaginary foes with
her friends. This grew into a real life nightmare for young Sally when she was forced to watch her family become minions of the Scourge. It left her with a burning desire to cleanse the world of the undead and all who would oppose her holy crusade.
She became effectively immortal, succumbing only to the wounds of
two annointed blades. Once felled, though, she did not stay down. Instead, a twist of fate made her into that which she hated most:
a Death Knight and one of the Four Horsemen of the Ebon Blade. While her single-minded crusade against the undead became a thing of the past, her iron will and resolve stayed with her. Now, as the
third of the Four Horsemen, she is a demonslayer and leader of all Death Knights on Azeroth.
