New Diablo Immortal Trailer - Baal, Polished Models, Improved UI, Gameplay Footage

Blizzard has a history of teasing new content at ChinaJoy, the largest gaming and digital entertainment convention in China, such as the
Warcraft III Statue of Arthas
and
"Old Soldier" cinematic
. Now, during ChinaJoy 2020, they have revealed a new Diablo Immortal trailer and launched a
portal site for Chinese users
with updated game assets.
As
Blizzplanet noted when covering the video
there are polished character models, an improved gameplay UI, and the surprising appearance of Baal, the major villain of
Diablo II: Lord of Destruction
.
Here is a comparison of the old (left) and new (right) models side-by-side (do keep in mind the Necromancer skeletons are likely boneless just for the Chinese version):

Blizzard announced at their
Q4 Earnings Call
that Diablo Immortal would start its first regional tests for the middle of 2020. We haven't received further details on when the alpha would start, but you can check out our
