May 14th Hotfixes - Enchanter's Umbral Wand Vendor Price

Blizzard has updated the hotfix blog with a rather strange change - adjusting the vendor price of
Bacchetta Ombrale dell'Incantatore
. While seemingly random, it vendors for a surprising 74 gold, while only requiring 20x
Polvere Tenebrosa
, 1x
Scheggia Ombrale
, and 1x
Legno Stellare
. Prices for those materials may vary, but on some servers they've dropped enough that those materials can be bought on the auction house for less than the vendor price, leading to a loop of transferring materials from the auction house to vendors in order to make easy gold.
The Alliance version,
Bacchetta Ombrale dell'Incantatore
also vendors for less than the Horde one linked above, at only 68 gold, so this change may also be aimed at making the two more equitable. Either way, this would seem to be something Blizzard wants to avoid, as they likely don't want players taking things out of the economy to make gold from vendors.
