Fan Artist Creates Druid Werebear Form Action Figure - Community Spotlight

Artist and storyteller Hobbes Holluck has adapted a Thundercats Snowman action figure into a lovely Druid werebear form action figure, and that has earned him today's Community Spotlight. Modding this action figure is really supercool, but the custom sculpts are art in their own right. Check out this fellow:

So over the holidays I decided to create a custom toy of the guardian druid werebear form as a gift. The goal- to transform a Thundercat action figure into the werebear.
So I sketched it out and bought some Apoxie clay...
Then shaved down some of the plastic and started sculpting directly on the figure...
After sculpting was finished I painted it using some dry brush techniques to bring out the details.
This was created as a gift for someone on Holluck's gift list - we should all be so lucky!
