Four new wild pets have been spotted in and a few other places! So far, Lucciola Violacea, Granchio di Palude, Falena Cerulea, and Beccosanguigno are in the pet journal.

Updated: In their 6.2 Pet Battle Preview, Blizzard has alerted us to 2 new rare wild pets! The Lucciola di Zaffiro and the Falena Alarossa. These pets spawn in Spires of Arak and Talador, respectively. They each have many spawn points but only 1 is spawned in the zone at one time!

New Vendor Pets

Vendors Giada Granguinzaglio and Tiffy Tenditrappole are now located at your Serraglio Livello 3 with new pets for sale for Talismano delle Mascotte Scintillantes: Cucciolo di Spinarossa, Alaspora Polveroso, Sporofago Luminoso, and Cucciolo Fatuo Perduto.

The total cost for these four pets is 400 Talismano delle Mascotte Scintillantes. The pet-related toys they sell are an additional 650 Talismano delle Mascotte Scintillantes for all three (see Additional 6.2 Pet Info below).

Another pair of new vendors, Commerciante Araanda and Commerciante Darakk, also at your Garrison, will sell you the Spaccottino pet for , who spawned from a conversation on Twitter about a future game designer hopeful!

New Legendary Pet Battles and Rewards

15 fel-tinged legendary pets, similar to the Bestie Leggendarie NPCs, will be located around : Terra Profanata, Skrillix, Pugnofatuo, Passotetro, Vilsangue di Draenor, Cupoartiglio, Scrutatore Oscuro, Gracchiapantano, Fiammatruce, Mazzachela Corrotto, Villucciola, Spirito Maledetto, Cucciolo del Caos, Codatonante Corrotto, Sentinella Vilfedele.

Each NPC pet can be defeated once per day for a bag of Provviste delle Mascotte Viltoccate, which can contain pet charms, Pietra Evolutiva Viltoccata, and has a chance to contain a new pet: Campana dell'Incubo, Cucciolo di Pervinca, Spora Marina, and Spora di Zangar.

New Darkmoon Faire Pets

Zannacuta di Lunacupa is a new type of fish that can be caught on the Faire's shores. Squalo Rigonfio can also be caught which contains 5-10 Zannacuta di Lunacupa and some gold.

Zannacuta di Lunacupa can be turned into Galissa Brinasolare at the docks for additional rewards.

Bolla di Blorp for 50 Zannacuta di Lunacupa teaches you the non-combat pet Blorp who resembles the fish-out-of-water props seen everywhere since Cataclysm.

Guscio Traslucido for 100 Zannacuta di Lunacupa teaches you the battle pet Granchio Fantaguscio which resembles Strisciaombre.

Also, Boccastretta will finally be available! He can be obtained by completing the achievement Che pestone!.

Other 6.2 Pets

The infamous Squalo Abbandonato, made famous by Katy Perry's performance at the 2014 Superbowl, will be obtainable from the new Naval Mission at your shipyard, Salvataggio di un orfano acquatico.

Guardiano del Nido Corrotto is a drop from the Arakkoa boss,Signore dell'Ombra Iskar, in Cittadella del Fuoco Infernale.

Community Manager Nethaera now has a candle pet that resembles her forum avatar. Find the candle in Dalaran and repeatedly /cheer at it to befriend it! The candle is currently nameless: Luce di Nethaera

Vilcucciolo is available from a quest in . Upon killing Ceraxas, the quest Il mio vilcucciolo personale, which rewards this pet, will appear from the Fel Puppy questgiver behind the rare.

Previously datamined, Tumulotto will most likely be available with a Heroes of the Storm promotion, similar to the Hearthstone promotion.

The Cucciolo delle Ceneri will be available as a reward from the mission Compagni ardenti. This is a regular mission, not a Naval mission.

The Frammento di Cyrukh is a pet that is a reference to Cyrukh il Signore del Fuoco, the final NPC of a long questline in old Shadowmoon Valley. It is obtainable in a Tanaan Jungle treasure: Treasure: Cipher Shard. In order to access the area where this treasure is located, you must complete some (if not all) of the 6.2 Garrison Campaign quests or you will be ported out of the area

6.2 Toys for Pets

Bocciolo Perfetto lets you pick several Vilpetalo which can be applied to your pets to give them a fel-tinged glow. While the toy is on a daily CD per character, you can log into alts to get even more Vilpetalo.

Osso Indistruttibile, Bacchetta dello Spirito, and Specchio Magico per Mascotte are new pet-related toys sold by new vendors in your Garrison (see Vendor Pet section above). The Osso Indistruttibile gives you a bone to throw for your Pug! The Bacchetta dello Spirito gives your pet a ghostly appearance. The Specchio Magico per Mascotte allows you to take on the appearance of your pet! See a full review of this item as it is so far on the PTR over at Wowhead user Quint's Perks and Peeves blog!

Additional 6.2 Pet Info

Players with a Level 3 Capanno da Pesca will have a chance to catch Vildente Frenetico Colossale. Nat Pagle in your Garrison will have an interest in these. This will allow you to work towards the Foca and Pesce "Cane" in the new content.

6.2 brings a new Pet Battle achievement: Piccoli terrori di Tanaan. You can complete this by battling your way through Tanaan Jungle's legendary pets!

6.2 is also introducing weekend events. One such event is the Pet Battle Bonus Event where Pets earn experience at triple usual rate.

As we continue to explore new territory in Draenor, it should come as no surprise that new battle pets and new battle pet rewards will be found. Thus far, Draenor has contained a great deal of diversity for pet battlers, and Patch 6.2 will be no different. Let's take a look at some of what's in store for your collection.Please note: Spoilers are ahead! If you want to discover the new battle pets and rewards for yourself, don't read any further! Tanaan Stop Action First and foremost, Tanaan Jungle is where the action can be found on all fronts. You will find battle pets of all types dotting the landscape, four of which are new and just waiting to be caught for the first time:

Keep an eye out for the new quest “A Fel Puppy of My Own”, through which you can acquire the delightful new Vilcucciolo.Just delightful.But the jungle doesn't only provide garden-variety battle pets. If you look carefully, you'll find that there are 15 fel-corrupted legendary pets scattered throughout Tanaan. Your Pet Battle Master in your garrison will have some new information for you to get started. You can only defeat any of these legendaries once per day, and when you do, you'll receive a container of Provviste delle Mascotte Viltoccate, which will include:

A Fel-Touched Battle-Training Stone (single use, grants +5 pet levels)

You're Too Charming Patch 6.2 is going to introduce a new vendor to your level 3 Garrison Menagerie. Tiffy Tenditrappole and Giada Granguinzaglio have been attracted to your impressive stash of Pet Charms, and want to take them off your hands in exchange for the following pets:

And the Hunt Continues A number of new battle pets coming to World of Warcraft with patch 6.2 can be found all over the worlds. Back home in Azeroth, adventurers will cheer when they find the non-combative Luce di Nethaera glowing in Dalaran. Meanwhile, two new fishing pets are turning up at the Fiera di Lunacupa. One is called Blorp (also a non-combat pet), and the other is the wondrous Granchio Fantaguscio.Their shells are made of ghosts.Even more pets have found their way to the fields of battle on Draenor. Look carefully, and you may find:

Falena Alarossa -- A rare spawn in Talador with many spawn points, and only one ever appearing in the zone at a time.
Lucciola di Zaffiro – A rare spawn in Guglie di Arakk who also has many spawn points and appears only once at a time.

Cucciolo delle Ceneri – Available from a new Garrison mission in patch 6.2.
Guardiano del Nido Corrotto – Caduto by Shadow Lord Iskar in the new Cittadella del Fuoco Infernale raid.
