Icecrown Raid Access Progression Revealed!
18/11/2009 alle 13:24
Lead Encounter Designer Daelo has published a lengthy post on the official forums that outlines Blizzard's plans for access progression in the Icecrown Citadel raid. The citadel will be broken up into four sections, and all of them won't immediately be available when patch 3.3 goes live.\r
We believe a staggered release of the content will allow players to experience Icecrown Citadel at a sustainable, measured, and ultimately more enjoyable pace.\r
Here's a list of the noteworthy points Daelo mentions in his post:\r
The Lower Spire will be the only section that is available initially. Plagueworks will open several weeks later, followed by the Crimson Hall and Frostwing Halls.\r
Players may not attempt the Heroic 10/25-player encounters until they defeat the Lich King in the Normal 10/25-player encounters.\r
The Lich King may not be attempted until Professor Putricide, Blood-Queen Lana'thel, and Sindragosa are defeated

Blue Pugs Round 3!
16/11/2009 alle 22:14
Let's see how many of these I can find. That's right, you get a third opportunity to go PUGging with a blue poster!\r
This one is Wednesday, November 18th, at 4:00PM PST.\r
Since our first two tests went so well, we’d like to invite everyone out again for round 3! Come join the fun on the PTR and instead of getting the PUG blues, you could end up grouped with a blue. Members of the Development Team (including the encounter designers themselves), the QA team, and the Community Team will be on the PTR to test out the new dungeon system and want you to come join in the fun. \r
To have a chance to group up with one of us, just queue up for a random heroic through the Dungeon tool. We will be playing both Alliance and Horde and since the Dungeon tool allows players to group cross-server, it doesn’t matter which of the two PTR realms you join from. \r
Join us Wednesday 11/18/09 at 4:00pm PST.

Mr. T Commercial #1 - Mohawk Grenade
16/11/2009 alle 13:30
CANNOT UNSEEThe Night Elf Mohawk himself has infiltrated the game to hand out Mohawk Grenades to anyone who wants to pity a fool. Along with this comes a new ad campaign with new commercials featuring Mr. T himself.\r
Get Your Own Mohawk Grenade!\r
Night Elf Mohawks can be found outside of every starter zone, such as the Northshire Abbey in
Foresta di Elwynn
and Deathknell in
Radure di Tirisfal
. Each Mohawk Grenade lasts 1 day and when used on an unexpecting player grants them the
buff which lasts for 60 minutes and gives the player the face of a Night Elf Mohawk. Even after using them all up the Night Elf Mohawks will gladly give you more! An official F.A.Q. on the grenades has also been setup here.\r
You can watch the commercial and read the original post about this after the jump!

So Blizzard has provided us with a video from their archives!\r
This is an interview that Jace Hall did with the Blizzard staff which originally aired on December 15, 2008—just a month or so after the release of Wrath of the Lich King. He explores the Blizzard offices (which they never let me take pictures of!), talks about the decisions they made for Wrath, and settles an old rivalry.\r

Blizzard Authenticators: Are They Worth It?
13/11/2009 alle 01:39
The Authenticator is an excellent tool that keeps unwanted hackers out of your account through a nearly infallible method. However, this device also has the potential to cause a lot of inconvenience for the account holder, oftentimes more trouble than it would cause for a hacker. I can say from this personal experience because I’ve gone through it twice already. After the second incident, it really made me reconsider whether or not the Authenticator was worth the hassle. \r
The first time happened was when I went on a trip to Northern California.
