Dusty Old Robot drops from the Blingtron 4000 Gift Package and starts the quest Last Year's Model.

Turn in the quest to Card Trader Leila (Alliance) or Card Trader Ami (Horde) and start the new quest Blingtron 3000, whereby you must defeat Blingtron 3000 in the Brawler's Guild arena.

You will be rewarded with Last Season's Shirt, an Enormous Sack of Coins and 50 Valor Points.

Unfortunately, while the Blingtron quest is shared across the entire account, this item is soulbound. Better make sure you do the quest on your main whenever possible.

Item indeed does drop with astonishingly low chance. Got mine from the Shrine of two moons, friend got his from Orgimar after almost month of farming Blingtron daily on mains.

You can get this item more then once on the same character after completing the quest once, however it will do you no good. It is safe to destroy.

I feel so depressed, mad and enraged thinking I got this item on the first day it was implemented, without knowing it existed. On an alt… Now I have 11/12. No Bligtron 3000 seen since…

I know this is just a shot in the dark, but is it possible that you can only get this quest item once per account, or the quest only once per account? I've noticed several other quest items dropping again and again on many of my characters, while this one continues to ellude me -- while I got it on the first Blingtron I ran in to on my Warrior alt.

Given how shared achievements/quests sometimes can be (like getting the same pet challenge quest 3 times in a row), is it possible you can only have one of these items/quests per character, per account? Would certainly explain the crappy droprate for me!

I had looted this on my alt and cried because all the comments here say its shared across your entire account. However I can confirm I just received another on my main! Although i had accepted the quest on my alt and did NOT turn it in for the card, I still managed to get it on my main

I got this twice on the same character, though he's horribly geared. Wish I could send it to my main. :\

Most of you looking here are probably, just like me, stuck with all cards with the exception of the Blingtron one. I've currently been trying every day for the last 48 days, and I mostly ever get stupid grenades and poor quality vendor items, and of course the eventual Paper Zeppelin Kit which is always nice.

I'll be lucky to get this within the coming week, but my hopes are pretty low considering how long I've been at this. According to the drop rates, most seem to get it once in 50 tries, but this is merely estimates, of course.

For those of you who fear that you won't be able to get the achievement and shirt when 6.0 hits, don't be too alarmed. On WoD beta the achievement is currently still there with my 11/12 progress, so unless they change it, you'll still be able to get your shirt . However, I've noticed there are Feats of Strength achievements (Now called "Legacy" achievements) that you earn for completing some Brawler related achievements during MoP (Perculia mentions it in her article here)

I'm going to carry on looting looting the gift package every day and hope that I'll get it before the patch hits in roughly a month. Just in case there will be a Legacy achievement for this.

Just got this today, get the message "You don't meet the requirements for that quest." What are the requirements as there is nothing listed on the item itself. I've learned other Brawler's quests.

The Brawlers Guild is located inside the Brawl'gar Arena; which, is located in the Valley of Honor in Orgrimmar.

As of patch 7.0.3, this item can still be obtained from Blingtron.

Accepting the quest will direct the player to the Brawler's Guild, which is "under renovations," hinting at a return of the Brawler's Guild with new content in a later patch.

The quest can still be turned in, however, due to the guild being closed, that's as far as you can go right now with this quest.

With the return of the Brawler's Guild in patch 7.1.5, this item is now turned into a grey item. Curiously it still starts a quest but when used a "You don't meet the requirements for that quest" message is returned (at least on a level 104 character).

The quest item, "Dusty Old Robot" has been turned into a grey item with the return of the Brawler's Guild in Patch 7.1.5. Getting the error, "You don't meet the requirements for that quest" is because it's related to the old Brawler's Guild so the quest can't be turned in. The only thing that can be done with the item is destroying it and abandoning the quest if you previously had it.

It would seem that my Blood-Soaked invitation from the "old" Brawlers Guild is no longer any good and I need a new one. Brawler's Guild invitations have reset. A good place to farm the invitation is from the elites in Shield's Rest in Stormheim.

This item turning "grey" is normally a dead giveaway they it is not used in the game anymore. I had the Dusty Old Robot, Digmaster's Earthblade, and Impeccably Sharp Tooth in my bags for a long time. The quests were no longer in my quest log. Just to be sure, I headed back anyway to see if I could get any thing out of these items. No quest givers in sight and the Card Trader Lelia didn't have anything to sell.

My Challenge Card: The Bear and the Lady Fair (Rank 6) is NOT grey. So, I will hold on to these items until I get another Blood-Soaked invitation and see if they can be still be used.

Bizmo's Brawlpub Bouncer says: You want to fight? You're gonna need an invite. You're welcome to watch,though.
