Now listed as a Normal/Heroic drop, with the other being listed as LFR.

This pet is added in patch 5.3, and drops from Primordius in Throne of Thunder of Heroic difficulty.

Note that this pet drops from the heroic encounter only, and the LFR and normal has a chance to drop Quivering Blob instead.

This item is BoP, but you can trade the pet to anyone by learning it and then caging it.

If you're trying to find this pet on the AH, be sure to search for Orrore Viscoso and NOT Melma Tremolante Oscura, as the pet name itself is different from the item name that teaches it.

Two new ooze pets that drop from Primordius in Regno del Tuono:

Fluido Vivente (from Melma Tremolante) drops in Raid Finder difficulty
Orrore Viscoso (from Melma Tremolante Oscura) drops in Normal/Heroic difficulty

This is currently the rarest battle pet that you might actually get.
Common/Rare WoW Pets - GuildOx - WoW Rankings
The rarer pets are all from from events and promotions long gone by, e.g. BlizCon 2005.

This will of course change over time, as gear improves and more people run Regno del Tuono.

I just got this from an unclaimed container on the black market auction house. On my server the battle pet that you learn from it is selling for .. well it's LISTED for 49kg, I spent 52kg on the crate... /sob

As a note, this particular one can now drop on LFR, in addition to Normal and Heroic (which means 2 different ones can drop in LFR now (including the Quivering Blob which can only drop in LFR))... It is unknown if that is a bug or an intended change, but has been the case since at least 8.0.1
