I don't think this is in the game anymore. I did the questline at Felstone Field, but at none of the stages did slavering ghouls appear in the field. There were Alliance Laborers, then they became Plagued Alliance Laborers, then lastly you raise them into Forsaken. When the chain finishes, the field is empty of all mobs/NPCs.

Hopefully this will save someone else the trouble of heading out there and doing low level quests.

Still in the game, but can only drop from Scorticatore Scheletrico and has a 0.05% drop chance.

How do people not check prices before listing things on the AH? Especially if no other copies are listed.

Just picked up two copies for 1g each. Frickin' ridiculous.

I just picked this up on the AH (Ysera) for a few gold. As another commenter noted, this may have been just a recipe someone had in his bag, but it likely means that this is still dropping albeit a very low rate as indicated by wowhead.

Global Median for Ricetta: Dono di Arthas is around 7300g, I can confirm that what AnsBremen said is correct (AnsBremen on 2011/09/30 GM told me recently that recipe does not drop anymore). I got mine from the AH for 6950g (US-Fenris)

As of 6/6/2016 a GM confirmed this no longer drops.

i saw somebody selling the recipe on Trade chat today so i was curious and asked a GM about it,

this was his response https://imgur.com/a/Zcd3VM4 , so it seems it was not "removed" as we previously thought, but such a LOW chance for it to drop you have to be the luckiest person with RNG to see it anytime soon :p,

as for how you 'might' obtain it, the mobs in question Scorticatore Scheletrico only spawn when you enter the old Crypt next to Uthers tomb in Western Plaguelands with the questchain you start there, be aware you can only see those mobs while you have the Phased zone quest Imboscata! active and not delivered.

I got 2 of these whilst doing the Loremaster achieve in WPL, so don't know if the drop rate has changed? I wasn't paying attention as to what dropped them as I was just nuking my way through the quests. I definitely killed a few rares.
