Seeing it's Item level one would assume it could be similar to Malevolent Gladiator's Medallion of Tenacity

This is currently dropped by several new rare spawns added in 5.1. They are all Alliance NPCs located in the new PvP and daily areas added in Krasarang Wilds. The new rares that drop this particular item are only attackable by Horde players, but their Horde counterparts are all available for the Alliance to kill and drop the equivalent Medaglione del Coscritto Costante.

Dropped for me twice by Dalan Nightbreaker. Can only hold one though.

The effect takes me from below 60% (57.82%) DR from resil to above 80% (80.58%) for 15 seconds.

Effectively, this is more than a 50% damage reduction (40% damage taken vs. 20%). Pretty stellar, actually. But DPS classes will definitely prefer the power trinket, which eludes me still.

This trinket only drops off Dalan Nightbreaker, one of the 3 'rare' spawns added in 5.1 for the pvp related Dominance Offensive area. Specifically around (85, 27) at the front gate of the Alliance base called Lion's Landing on the Eastern side of Krasarang Wilds. You need to have completed the quests that un-phase that zone for you, up to and including Domination Point in order to find any of the 3 rares. The other two rares here drop Horde Insignia of Conquering & Kor'kron Book of Hurting separately. Each rare has the same 25-30% chance to drop their trinket.
There are Alliance versions of these 3 rares and respectively the 3 trinkets.

10,000 resilience is worth, at most, (if you have 0 resilience when you use the trinket) 17.62% damage reduction; raising you from the base 40% to 57.62%. The effect lasts 15 seconds and visually resembles a red absorb shield.

And of course, only useful in Pandaria world PvP.
