Seems like it can only be made by Alchemists. It is used in the "Ghostweave" tailoring set, geared towards Priests, I believe. On 'Scarlet Crusade' server, the (outrageous) average AH price is 9g per, due to lack of demand or supply.

The alchemy supplies salesman Logannas, no longer carries the recipe for ghost dye.
This is the only alchemy supply person on Feathermoon Stronghold, I havent checked the flight point in Feralas yet, but I'm not holding my breath either.

Logannas does indeed still sell this. It's a limited availability recipe so once he sells it, you have to wait for it to restock. I found one on him tonight.

Where can you find this item if you aren't an Alchemist? I'm a tailor and cannot find this dye anywhere, I've tried the Auction House in Stormwind and can't find it, I've also tried vendors in pretty much every city I've visited. I was hoping someone here might have an idea for me. Thanks!

This is one of those recipes that is geared towards sharing across the AH but is likely only shared across toons. If you can find some in the AH, it is at a ridiculous price. My tailor really wanted some of this because Ghostweave Gloves only required 2 bolts of runecloth with two of these instead of the average 5 for something... that means that you need a whole stack of runcloth just to make one item.

I've been trying yesterday and today and still nothing. I sign off and play another toon for 20-30 min then check back and he always only has the Recipe: Nature Protection Potion. I've tried buying it up everytime to see if the ghost dye would pop up but it hasn't so now I will try without touching anything in his inventory and see if that works. I hope it does soon. I'm assuming he still sells it but I can't confirm.

**Edit** As soon as I posted this, I checked again and the ghost dye recipe popped up in his inventory, haha! This was the first time I had tried leaving the rest of his inventory alone and 10 min later it was there. So I'm not sure if not buying his other items really makes a difference but it might have for me. Yaaaay! Good luck!

In the Un'Goro Crater to the the cave in Fungal Rock (ironic?). The cave entrance is located at 63.9, 16.3. I cleared 18 from that cave.

Does anyone know if there is a proc bonus based on your alchemy specialty? I can't really determine if this ghost dye would be considered a "potion" or a "flash/elixir." It would be great if a potion master or elixir master would have a chance to proc more than one for each creation!

For Ricetta: Tintura Spettrale, the vendor is directly inside the tree building at (46.7, 43.1) on the right.

Feralas does not get too much player traffic (which is sad since it's so dam pretty) so you are pretty much guaranteed to get Ricetta: Tintura Spettrale.

Important: Tintura Spettrale is VERY useful for professions such as Tailoring, since it's green recipes only cost 2-3 Rotolo di Telarunica, yet it's pretty rare on the AH, so pump some Tintura Spettrale out on your server!
