This item seems to be trying to give me honor instead of valor.

If you are capped on honor, you will not be able to use this item as intended. However, it will still grant you Valor if used. If you are capped on honor, you can simply go to the level 60 pvp item vendor, purchase an item, use the commendation, earn Valor, return the pvp item.

*this works for commendations 1st - 6th place.*

Unless I have terrible luck, it appears that it is a one time use only item.

I just want to say that Blizzard should forewarn people somehow about the limited time this item can be used. If I had known what was inside the first place bag, I would have waited til my valor points reset to use it. What's the point of earning first place and then not being able to use the prize for all my hard work?

Don't ask me why or how, but I got this item and managed to use it to get 15 valor points today, even though it's supposed to have been removed completely.
