Occasionally while working towards finishing the common Pandaren artifacts, you actually end up completing a 'Pristine' version of the artifact instead. Hand in the subsequent quest at the Seat of Knowledge in the Vallata dell'Eterna Primavera (there is nothing else that needs to be done) and you'll receive one Frammento di Ceramica dei Pandaren and 3x Manufatto Restaurato (which is an archaeological currency for MoP).

The location 'The Seat of Knowledge' for all hand-ins to Ramingo della Sapienza Cho is above the Palazzo Mogu'shan in the Vallata dell'Eterna Primavera and can only be accessed with flying.

Getting ALL Pandaren and Mogu 'Pristine' artifacts will also earn you the achievement L'Archivio della Conoscenza.

It's also worth noting that while you can accept these 'Pristine' quests at level 85 (as soon as you get the quest item), you physically cannot reach the area you need to hand in at until you're 90 or unless you get a level 90 friend with a two-person flying mount to taxi you up there. You'll already know this, if you've managed to leg it into the zone (like me) and stood mere inches away from the hand in, with no ability to actually get to it. Lock summons can also do the trick here (this is also the part where we lament the good old days of mass summoning). Otherwise, be patient and wait till you're big and bad enough to do it yourself!

Does anybody know if the quests can be repeated in case you find more than one pristine artifact of the same type?

Pristine Pearl of Yu'lon does not count for I quattro Celestiali

After turning in this artifact, it will make noises. You can hear them if your sound is on and you are standing nearby the artifact in the Seat of Knowledge.

It might also be interesting to note to that the Perla di Yu'lon is describes as having a depiction of "a serpent eating its own tail," which is a reference to Ouroboros, which Ouro is a reference to. Whether there is any relation between Ouro and Yu'lon remains to be seen.

Since there is a Quest for each pristine artifact, you can use a macro command to check if you've already completed each quest.

For the Perla di Yu'lon Intatta / Perla di Yu'lon Intatta:

/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(31803))
A result of 1 means that you have done it already, and "nil" means you haven't completed it yet.

Or you can go visit The Seat of Knowledge in The Vale of Eternal Blossoms, and stroll around the museum exhibit to view all your completed pristine artifacts.

Or (lazy bones) open your Achievements panel and view your progress on The Seat of Knowledge.
