This herb sells very well on most servers. It is used for a few potions, primarily the Flask of the Titans. Flask of the Titans is used by high end raiding guilds on their tanks, and is widely sought after. It can also be used to make Elixir of Giants and Major Troll's Blood Potions, which are useful for DPS classes end game.

For good money at earlier levels this can be gathered from the Demon Canyon in Ashenvale (Mobs are around level 30) or in the Manroc Coven in Desolace (Mobs are around level 38).

If you go to Blasted Lands and do a few circles around the zone, you can pick about 30 in an hour or so if you have a good path. Plus you get misc herbs like Firebloom and Sungrass. Excellant herb for some cash and good for Flask of the Titans.

Pick this up in felwood. Its a great place for farming herbs and you can get some dreamfoil while looking for gromsblood. They both sell very well on AH.

Looking for this herb in Desolace isnt a really good idea, go for Felwood. Because in Desolace, the respawn rate is very long.

Anywhere demons past level 35 or so are to be found, so will gromsblood (think about the name).

Just found a reagent vendor in Winterspring all the way south where the elite felgaurds are. he sells about 5 at a time for 10s for 1. you simply wait a while for more to spawn and buy more from him

At 250 Herbalism I went to Blasted Lands and Did a few laps around the Zone. in about 30-40 minutes i was 285 Herbalism with 24 Gromsblood, 22 Firebloom, and 25 Sungrass. On my Server these stacks pull about 30g ea.

If your 250 Herbalism I Recommend Going here untill 285(you can go higher) then u can head WPL for plagueblooms (or Winterspring for Icecaps at 290)

No. The reason it can be found there is because of all the demons walking around there.

You have to wonder what they called this plant before that happened.

They didn't. Gromsblood is a non-native species. It didn't exist on Azeroth prior to the Burning Legion's invasion during the Third War, where Gromsblood seeds were carried on the feet of invading demons. By the time the weed was noticed by Azerothian herbalists, the event in question had already happened, so before that happened, it wasn't called anything, as it was simply unknown.

well after reading everyones comments i went looking for this herb in blasted lands and felwood results as follows

searched each for 20min

Gromsblood can still be found in blasted lands, it's located around the north side of the dark portal, where the demons/felhunters are.

1 hour of farming yielded:

Gromsblood - 41
Dreamfoil - 103
Mountain Silversage - 77
Golden Sansam - 24

There are quite a few Gromsblood around Irontree Woods in Feralas.

Felwood now seems to be the place to gather gromsblood.
I just made a very thorough search of the zone on my 85 druid, took about an hour.

107 Gromsblood (typically out in the open)
77 Goldem Sansam (almost always at the base of a tree)
36 Dreamfoil (also out in the open)
25 Purple Lotus (found in the various ruins)

I found this easily in Felwood. I was there to get Purple Lotus and found a few but the area had lots of Gromsblood (over 50 within half hour) and Golden Sansam (20 in half hour).

Done one lap of the Felwood perimeter - no particular route, just followed the herbs.
Took aprox 40min on my ground mount.

Used to make Elisir Rivela Demoni. Easy way to level Alchemy. Orange from 250 to 265, meaning you need 30 of these plants.

Found in open spaces where demons lurk.

Felwood definately the best place for this. I went there with 270 herbalism, picked up loads there, as well as Dreamfoil and Golden Sansam. Make sure to check out Jadefire Run in the far northwestern corner, found four-five nodes with Gromsblood as well as a Golden Sansam (in very close proximity of each other).

EDIT: Short respawn time, managed to respawn in the time it took me to write this!

Gromsblood can be farmed in Blasted Lands specifically and *only* on and along the rim that surrounds The Dark Portal, in the areas with the deep ruts in the ground. It is found nowhere else in the Blasted Lands. Mt. Silversage and Dreamfoil are commonly found randomly around the rest of Blasted Lands. Gromsblood will spawn only on that rim which is patrolled by Felguard Sentry and their Felhounds. Once the available Gromsblood has been picked, go farm the other two herbs and return in ten or so minutes to the Dark Portal rim area and collect the newly-respawned Gromsblood.

Just finished farming 4 stacks of Gromsblood in Felwood. Took about 20 minutes to sweep the whole map, also got a bunch of Dreamfoil along with close to 100 Gromsblood. Great place to farm the materials for Mighty Rage Potions for warriors or bear druids.

i flew up and down Fellwood 3 times, top to bottom, and ONLY collected Gromsblood: x113, for a few min.
