Possibly refer's to the mechanical dragonkin engineers are able to make. I would think that this would have, oh, say... the combination of the Pandaren version of Cuore degli Aspetti, and the very old Minidrago Meccanico.This is only a guess, so I have no idea what Blizzard will do.

Is an uncommon, not rare, battle pet. I can't prove this but in every test I tried, vendor'ed and crafted pets have had a consistent rarity. By consistent, I mean they could be of any rarity, just the same of either common, uncommon or rare. I have two of these and they are both uncommon (green).

I was very excited when I FINALLY mined enough trillium to make this little guy. I crafted him up and then my heart broke! He's not a rare battle pet he's only an uncommon. With the EXTREMELY high value of the mats used to make this guy, I had expected that he would be a rare pet.

so at this point, they combined both, goblin and gnomish engineering and there isnt anything special about old subspec in engineering at all..... :(

Mats except Spirits come to 128 Minerale di Ectoferro to craft this pet. Unless you come across Trillium ore or get a proc when Transmuting.

awesome this seems like a good pet for my idea i came up with im mix and matching pet types trying to fine make a battle pet team that is strong to at lest 90% of all classes a pet can be so far i got some of it down but need a lot more testing so far im thinking a good mech pet may be what is lacking not so sure yet so i'll check with a friend get her the mats and pay her for the spirit, so is it a uncommon every time or can it be poor common uncommon or rare just wondering due to my dk crated a panther at first all i got was poor or common well now all i get each craft is uncommon 100% of the time seems like the more i craft them the more uncommons i get 4th try rare now all uncommon wonder how long to i get rare. with my realm think if i get some rares i can start selling the uncommon for 3,5k and put rares at 6.5k

Felino Termoflussante is a somewhat dangerous and increasingly common pet to see in PVP battles due to the "I can one-shot you in 3 turns" mechanics (Wind-Up + Supercharged + Wind-Up). A somewhat novel way to counter this pet is with Zeppelin di Lunacupa . Note that Miniserpe Volante Meccanica is an identical pet (in terms of the abilities you will be using) and thus works as well, but comes as Uncommon by default, meaning you have to get a stone to upgrade it first. I'll be referring to the Zeppelin in the explanation for this reason, but the two are obviously interchangeable.

First of all, you'll be equipping Thunderbolt in the tier 1 slot, not surprising, since it does extra damage to mechanical. You'll basically be Thunderbolting them to death with a few exceptions where you'll be using Decoy.

The real trick is Decoy in the tier 2 slot however. This ability will absorb 2 incoming attacks, which by default works well against one-hitting attacks that only occur every few turns, like the Fluxfire Feline's. Now, there's a few ways that this can play out:

1) If your Zeppelin is faster than their Fluxfire:
This is a little bit of a simpler situation. You can wait until you see the opponent cast Supercharged and then drop the Decoy on the next turn. This will cause their Supercharged attack to get absorbed with the decoy, wasting their 3 turns of preparation as well as putting their Supercharged on cooldown. They'll then follow up with a tier 1 attack to break your Decoy, at which point you'll be back to a slug-fest.

If the opponent is smart, they'll realize what you intend to do with Decoy and try to attack a turn early. At a bare minimum, this will prevent them from using a Supercharged combo, but will still hit hard. If you anticipate your opponent trying this, you should drop your Decoy a turn early. THIS will do one of two things. If they Wind-Up a second time as you expect, you'll now absorb 2 turns with the attacks, and they'll still need to use their tier 1 attack once before they can start up again. Well worth the effort. If they Supercharge instead, unless they're stupid, they'll follow up with tier 1 attacks for 2 turns; however, this will still burn their Supercharge as it will get used up in the first tier 1 attack absorbed by Decoy.

2) Your Zeppelin is slower
Same idea, except now you have to anticipate your opponents moves a little better. If you think they're going to use a full-out 3-turn one-shot, then you need to drop your decoy on the turn that they're going to Supercharge so that it's up when they're ready to one-shot. Unless your opponent is naive, they'll now use two tier 1 attacks to break the Decoy, which will preserve their Wind-Up charge but will waste Supercharged.

If your opponent is smart enough to not waste a Supercharged Wind-Up because they know you're going to Decoy, then you need to drop Decoy on the first turn. This is obviously the least effeective case as it no longer wastes either Supercharged or a Wind-Up charge, but it will still draw 2 turns of their attacks in exchange for just 1 turn of dropping the Decoy. That is, unless they open with Supercharged instead of Wind-Up, in which case you still waste one of their cooldowns.

In either case, you should be able to delay for enough turns to kill the Fluxfire; remember that both you and the Fluxfire rez on death. Luckily, your tier 1 talent hits substantially harder than theirs (due to it being elemental), so you should easily beat them if you get into a tier 1 slug-fest, with their only advantage being if they combine both Wind-Up and Supercharged.

As of my last search of the Pet DB, this is the *only* Mechanical pet with a Dragonkin attack, making it the ony pet optimal for fighting Magic pets with Magic attacks, as Magic attacks are weak on it, while it's attacks are strong against Magic pets.

Unfortunately, it comes in uncommon quality, which means that a competitive pet battler will need a Flawless (Mechanical) Battle-Stone in order to add this pet to their elite team of pets doubly optimized for fighting a certain family.

Hi, I just made a couple of these and noticed that after I activated one it said "Collected 1/3".

Does anyone know what that means?

I know what it means. 1/3 means you only have 1 out of the 3 you are allowed to have. U may only have 3 of any kind of pet.

Bummer... starts at lvl 1... was hoping at least lvl15 or more. :S

Luckily you can cage/auction them. Everything else I have is around lvl22. Cool pet but, don't have the time to level it up. :S

Its also a rare drop from Blingtron 4000 Gift Package. So you can also try asking friends with Engineering profession to deploy it and try it, I got lucky on brewfest where someone had him out and i got the gift package found this little guy in there.

this pet very strong because at 2 it has a power called bombing run:10 damage (i think not good) . at 4 it has explode:40 damage.at 10 it has flyby:10 damage (same as 1).at 15 it has thunderbolt:42 damage(really good to use).finanlly at 20 it has decoy: does not do damage any but reduces damage taken from your team.....

This pet is a must have for battle pet enthusiasts!

It is extremely versatile and if you get a speed version, very deadly

great to use on ashlei trainer and can level 2 pets at once.

The dragon can also be used on other pet battles, and is great against the Tyreal/diablo/treasure goblin menagerie team. Can solo it too.

I'm not sure if this is new or not but I created and learned another one of these guys today (patch 7.1.0) and to my surprise the little guy was learned as a rare quality pet instead of the uncommon quality my previous one was learned as. No Pietra Evolutiva Rara Meccanica needed!
