Looted this today. Did get a nice chunk of xp but did not get credit for Perduto e ritrovato. Looks like this is just vendor fodder.

Edit: No longer vendor fodder. This does count of the "Treasures" achievements added in patch 5.1.

I found one in Mogujia while completing the "Deanimate the Reanimated" quest and I received 376,000xp and the head itself vendors for 100g.

I received a surprising 520k+ experience from looting this item. I was level 87 at that time. I don't know if I bugged the experience gain but this seemed incredibly high.

looted this today and received 520k xp but nothing in my inventory. /shrug

I just looted this item with my lvl. 88 Warlock and received 516,000 xp along with the item, while under double xp bonus for being rested. I imagine that's the main reason people are seeing varied xp received here. Not to mention those people who have an xp bonus due to xp buffs or heirloom items, neither of which applies to my Lock currently.

Co-ords posted above did not work for me but managed to find this, granting 567600 XP @ 87 fully rested.

Edit* In reply to poster below these items don't spawn, although you can't see them anymore when you click them (can only be collected once per character), I've collected these with friends, who have managed to collect after it "despawned" for me.

Quick Note: Make sure you have room in inventory when collecting!

I found it at 59.2 73.0 so Im guessing this one can spawn anywhere in the camp. Also, the item didn't look like the above picture, it was much smaller than the other heads, so look closely. Also, when you find it, be sure to run down to Eastwind Rest and grab Rested, thus you get 2x XP for picking up the head.

Located inside the object/container Testa di Terracotta, which may be found at coordinates 59.24, 73.03 in the ruins of Mogujia, to the northeast of Westwind Rest, in Massiccio del Kun-Lai. It had spawned such that part of it was "inside" a stone wall, making it a bit harder to see (screen shot submitted). It seems that this object has multiple locations where it can spawn, but in general, look around inside the ruins of Mogujia.

To set a TomTom Waypoint:
/way Kun-Lai Summit 59.24 73.03 Terracotta Head

The object contains this item Testa di Terracotta, which you can vendor for 100 Gold.

This find *did* count as a "Treasure of Pandaria": It increased my count of treasures found toward Il bottino di Pandaria, so I assume that it also counts for Il tesoro di Pandaria, La fortuna di Pandaria and Le ricchezze di Pandaria.

There is a "FLAG - quest" ( FLAG - Terracotta Head ) for opening this object, which means that you can only do it once per toon - ever. Here's a little macro command that you can use to see if you've already opened it:
/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(31422))
A result of true means that you have it already, and false means you haven't opened it yet.

How many people looted this by accident while doing the quest where you have to pick up artifacts? I was pleasantly surprised to receive the "Treasure of Pandaria" achievement for finding this while not even looking for it :-)

I found at 59.3 74.5

Make sure you look hard as someone said, it's a lot smaller than the rest and tends to be found next to the walls so search the perimeter!

Looted Terracotta Head which sells for 100g :>

This item is not what you're seeing in the screenshot above, so don't waste your time looking for those in particular (wouldn't be hard, they're everywhere) because those aren't what you're looking for. is actually about half the size of what you see in the screenshot, and will be sparkling, just like all of the other Treasures of Pandaria.

Coordinates for where I found mine, were: "59.23 - 73.02"

The head that I found today was located at 58.3, 73.5, inside of the Mogujia ruins (NE from Westwind Rest). There are a few heads in the ruins; this one was laying on its side whereas the others were sitting right-side up.

Looting the object gave me a grey quality Terracotta Head, which vendors for 100 gold, as well as credit towards the "Riches of Pandaria" achievement.

found at 59.22, 73.03 next to a terracotta guardian right next to a wall. from the comments i guess it has many, many spawns points.

I found it while a high level Alliance scum was in the area, so i had to move fast and weave up and down on my mount, scanning the walls.
