The description listed on Perduto e ritrovato is incorrect, as well as the description originally given here. To be clear, Zouchin Village is not the name for this entire area, it is merely the primary name that shows up on the map and is the QUEST HUB.

The lake where this is located is actually a good deal southeast of Zouchin Village in a very hostile area known as the Zandalari Vanguard. If you go to the far south of the Zandalari Vanguard you should find the lake/pool where this is located. It sits right at the bottom in the middle of the pool, clearly visible and not covered by anything. None of these NPCs are neutral and some are elite too, so be careful. If you can manage to get to the lake without being dismounted you 'should' be fine, as I aggroed a few and they ran back as soon as I hit the water and dived down.

On the in-game map it would be the lake at the very top of the water strip that is just inland along the east coast of Kun-Lai Summit going north above the Temple of the White Tiger. Make sure not to waste your time looking around the pools right outside Zouchin Village like I did! Since this item does not count towards anything and sells for only 100g, I wouldn't go out of your way to get it, just consider it a nice bonus reward for questing in that area. :)

The Statua di Xuen is located inside the object/container Statua di Xuen, which may be found in Massiccio del Kun-Lai at coordinates 72.01, 33.96 in Zouchin Province, at the bottom of a pool of water, under a waterfall. On the map, the pool is just south of The Zandalari Vanguard, and to the north and slightly east of the Temple of the White Tiger.

To set a TomTom Waypoint:
/way Kun-Lai Summit 72.01 33.96 Statue of Xuen

The Statua di Xuen may be sold to a vendor for 100 Gold.

This find *does count* as a "Treasure of Pandaria": It increased my count of treasures found toward Le ricchezze di Pandaria, so I assume that it also counts for Il tesoro di Pandaria, La fortuna di Pandaria and Il bottino di Pandaria.

There is a "FLAG - quest" ( FLAG - Statue of Xuen ) for picking up Statua di Xuen, which means that you can only do it once per toon - ever.

Here's a little macro command that you can use to see if you've already opened it:
/run print(IsQuestFlaggedCompleted(31416))
A result of true means that you have it already, and false means you haven't opened it yet.

as of 2/18/13 i received 284551 experience when looting this at level 89 while rested. ive noticed while leveling this toon that the rares as well as the items looted are giving significantly less exp per. looks like blizz did a hotfix since i leveled my last toon to 90 less than a month ago

The Statue of Xuen is found at the bottom of a lake (at the bottom of a waterfall), in the Zouchin Province, Kun-Lai Summit. The coordinates are 72.0, 34.0. If you don't have a coordinate addon, just follow the waterfalls north from the east side of the Temple of the White Tiger, the statue is in the very last pool.

Opening the statue gave me a grey item "Statue of Xuen", which can be vendored for 100 gold. Received credit towards the "Riches of Pandaria" achievement".

Opening the item requires level 20.
Mobs in the area start at level 20 (and up depending on your level).
