The droprate on scorpok pincers seems to be way, way lower than indicated here. KIlled over 20 of Scorpok Stingers, and not a single one dropped so far. And yes, I do have several quests that require them.

Edit: right after I posted this, they started dropping from about every third one. Apparently, I just had a very long streak of bad luck

Ive had troubles getting this item as well.
killed around 30+ and only got 5 of em..
Don't think drop rate 41%.... would say maybe 10-12% drop rate...

the quest at blasted lands suck u get no exp on the quests

I went out there skinning for scorpid scales for my friend who joined alittle while ago and has a hunter so made them a set of tough scorpid armor.

But anyways i skinned 84 scales and in that time i was getting these pincers. I was able to harvest 53 pincers in about an hour and half so the drop rate isnt to horrible i am also a level 80 feral druid but the drop rate seems to be 1-3 or 1-2 most of the time. Just run in a circle and keep killing them and the dog things and ull get plenty i know if u just kill the scorpids theyll spawn less and less. So if ur going to harvest them kill the dogs as well. the jowls i notice drop alot less then the pincers. I was only able to get 9 jowls while i was there.

After the Cata release this may have become a dead item. The NPC's who collected them for a repeatable quest at a little compound in the Blasted Lands located at 47,12 are no longer there.
