edit July 26th: Now it's 28 slot and BoE. Was kinda obvious, they ditched non-binding bags after Vanilla, and if it was always tradeable, it wouldn't be a money sink. BoA bag would've been the same as BoE since it's limited to realm.

Newest beta patch 5.0.3 (15851), these are now 28 slot.

Imperial silk has 2 crafts now, 1 that just requires windwoll bolts, but has a cd of 1 day. Or one with the spirit of harmony that does not have a cd.

The truly awesome thing about this bag is that it has 4 equal rows of 7 slots each. Really really hated the unevenness of the 22 and 26 slot bags, with their two extra slots sticking out all ungainly like out of the top of the bag.. ugh...

I'm sure I was the only one who is bother by that though lol

So let me get this straight... im supposed to get 1920 MoP Cloth.. for 8 more slots? that'll be like 25,000g atleast in early MoP... this should be a 30 slot bag atleast. 32 would be more acceptable..
28 green, 30 rare, 32 epic.

This just seems like a complete waste of gold to me.

The materials for each bag depend on which pattern you use to make the Imperial Cloth.
Using Imperial Cloth:
Minimum 12 days and 480 Windwool Cloth (12 Imperial Cloth x 8 Windwool Bolts/Imperial Cloth x 5 Windwool Cloth/Windwool Bolt) to craft.
OR
Using Song of Harmony:
300 Windwool Cloth (12 Imperial Cloth x 5 Windwool Bolts/Imperial Cloth x 5 Windwool Cloth/Windwool Bolt) and 36 Spirit of Harmony (360 Motes of Harmony) and the time required to gather the mats.

Matts for this are insane... It costs as much as 2x epic chest or 3x epic gloves. Taking into account prices mentioned items are sold on AH (~15k - 25k) I don't expect these any time soon. 50k gold for a bag anyone?)

You can purchase the pattern from the quartermaster of the august celestials at your faction capital in the vale of eternal blossoms. Of course you have to be exalted with the august celestials before purchasing the pattern.

The pattern will always cost 40 gold (35 with the guildperk which reduces all prices by 10%). Strangely enough the discount for being exalted with the august celestials doesn't apply to the vendor of this pattern because he is the quartermaster of the august celestials but actually not part of the faction. This has been fixed.

you need 12 day to make it also Seta Imperiale its souldbound cant trade it
so you should be Tailoring if u want to make it by your self or talk to someone with Tailoring and give him all mats and wait 12 day then he can give u the bag

It's going to provide a decent profit in Mists of Pandaria for all the tailors who are whiling to make it.
Hopefully we will see a lot of them going on the AH by the end of the patch.

as it requires the following :

- Being exalted with Venerabili Celestiali
- 12 Seta Imperiale (through Seta Imperiale or Canzone dell'Armonia )

I must admit I do kind of have a bag fetish, but having the best bag in the game finally be an epic once again just makes my happy-bone tingle!
Even though it was expensive and not really something anyone else can actually see it was totally worth it!

Now if only there was a way to alter that pesky backpack!

Just 2 more slots for new bag and whole tons of new cosmetic items ? Seems this is not enough .

Why don't they add 36 slot bag for all items ? I think players required more space for new transmog gear .

Or they could at least add some more space to the void store .

These are selling for 7k to 9k on silvermoon eu - which is just greed
theres no effort involved - easy mats.
The price is only driven by the CD on the 12 mats.

These are going for around 7k on both alliance and horde shadow council server, considering the ease of which making gold is these days I didn't hesitate to pick up 2 of these I love em. Bags are always a good investment they outlast gear and expansions, I still have my bottomless bags from vanilla great for the bank.

Given that you can start crafting Imperial Silk long before you can obtain all the August Celestials rep you need to get the recipe, you could have a massive stack of silk just waiting to be turned into bags.

I am a bag mania as well but i have tailoring on my alt mage and i know how boring it is to do the dailies all over again to get exalted so i have found a better and easier way to get exalted:). Simply go farm the Zandalari warscouts and Zandalari warbringers and farm the Fregio dei Venerabili Celestiali Rubato August Celestials mail them over your tailor character and raise the Fregio degli Shandaren Rubato Shado-pan ,Fregio dei Klaxxi Rubato klaxxi, Fregio del Loto Dorato Rubato golden lotus repp as well if you want and you can have a chance to get 1 of the 3 mounts (Redini del Cornofurente Primordiale d'Ardesia & Redini del Cornofurente Primordiale d'Ambra & Redini del Cornofurente Primordiale di Giada)from the Zandalari Warbringers as well!(Depends the color of the Zandalari Warbringer's direhorn). Also you can get satchels from both the Zandalari Warbringers and Zandalari Warscouts (Sacca Piccola di Forniture Zandalari & Sacca Grande di Forniture Zandalari) witch also can contain Windwool cloth for your daily Seta Imperiale CD.My mage is Draenei and i was earning 2200 repp eitch insignia i was using cause it goes like this :
1000 repp from the insignia + 10% from guild perk (Saranno Famosi) + 100% extra repp from the commendation Grand'Encomio dei Venerabili Celestiali you get once you are revered (witch you can get with your main as the buff is for the whole account) so you will need around 20 insignias from 0/3000 until exalted.

The Zandalari Warbringer have around 21 million HP while Zandalari warscout has 6 million HP

Zandalari Warbringer and Zandalari Warscout's abilities:
Tribal Mask ---> Horrific Visage : Feared for 8 seconds (Magic type dispellable)
Scarab Brooch ---> Scarab Swarm: several AOEable Scarabs (Around 40K HP)
Thundering Sigil ---> Thunder Crush: Avoidable lightning cloud on the ground (similiar to shockwave)
Star Map ---> Meteor Shower: Avoid Meteors from the sky (can see black circles on the ground so u can avoid easily)
Spirit Charm ---> Vengeful Spirit: Avoid the Spirit as it hits very hard (can be stunned, knockback or rooted)

The Zandalari Warbringer always has 4 of the 5 abilities while the Zandalari Warscout has 3 of the 5 abilitiies.
The Zandalari Warbringer will drop 3 or 4 random stolen insignias while the Zandalari Warscout will drop only 1 random insignia

You can easily solo a Zandalari Warscout with any class because you can stun, root or slow him while the Zandalari warbringer is kinda hard for some classes to solo because he is immune to all the types of CC but easily done with a tank and healer, also you can be on your alt if you have friends with a 2 seat mount like Fiala delle Sabbie Sandstone drake or Cuore di Alanotte Obsidian Nightwing and get like 500K XP without rest or even 1M XP rested From Zandalari Warbringers

I really don't get people complaining about market prices on these. One person below even cited that it doesn't take long to go to Silken Fields and create --- totally missing the point.

The high-end bag market has always been gated behind a very high barrier of entry. Assuming you're starting from scratch at 85, we're talking about hours and hours of cloth farming (or about 50k, if not more, to buy the cloth) to level tailoring. Then there's leveling to 90. Assuming you have commendations, we're talking one week of Tillers to get your farm up (not required, sure, but of course you're going to do this. Then 1 - 2 weeks Golden Lotus dailies to Revered. Then 1 - 2 weeks Celestials dailies to get the pattern.

The opportunity cost that is lost by selling a bag instead of, say, gear, other mats from your farm, or even the Windwool itself is huge. In some cases it's higher than the price the bag sells for. And with a limited daily cooldown, every bag you sell is one you're not equipping.

It's not greed. It's market value, which is based on much more than just what mats go into the bag. This is true for every cooldown-based crafted material across all profs.

Who's idea was it to make it the same graphic as Sacca Ultraterrena ? What if I accidentally sell it as a otherworldly bag? The price difference is significant! I think they should change the graphic of the otherworldly bag to something else.

I really do not understand why Blizzard has not yet compensated for the mandatory bag you have?

Is it just "me" or is that 16 slot bag a little to small very soon?
Why don't they do something like - upgrading it for some gold?

LIke you can buy more slots for your guild and bank, why don't they make some kind of upgradable option for that specific bag?

For those of you that have an alt making these bags I use my farm for the motes as well as the daily CD.

(assuming you use 16 patches of your farm for motes a day and you do not find any motes getting the cloth you need)

1 day = 1 imperial silk (daily CD) and 16 motes of harmony (or 1 spirit and 6 motes)
30 motes = 1 imperial silk

1 bag would take 8 days leaving you with 8 motes leftover

this does not factor in cloth ( I use an alt to farm that as well )

The first thing I noticed about this bag is the vendor price. 1G 53s 87c. It seems very random.

And by saying that the price is random, I mean that just about every other bag in WoW has nice round prices. Like Sacca dell'Illusione sells for 2G, Sacca Glaciale also for 2G, Sacca di Telardente for 1,5G etc.

What can I say, I absolutely love these Royal Satchels. The only mandatory items I keep in my bags is the Hearthstone, Skinning Knife and a Runed Copper Rod. I then go out into the world and farm til my bags are full. These bags plus my Traveler's Tundra Mammoth (to vendor trash) allow me to stay out in the world for a very long time.

I’ve seen a lot of comments about the extra 2 slot sticking out on top of the “uneven” bags both for and against and I have to vote for the “even” bags. Not because of OCD or even the neatness factor - my reason is a bit more “BASIC” at the macro level, I have a general macro I use on all my toons that goes

/use 4 8

which means (in english) target your current target - can you help it(them) - YES then use what is in bag 4 slot 8 - NO - then use what is bag 4 slot 8 on yourself

what is in bag 4 slot 8 you ask - simple it’s the strongest bandage that toon can make –> no names to changes as you level First-Aid, simple short and HIGHLY effective all you have to do I make sure you have a bag in the left most bag slot (this is bag 4) and if its an “even” bag put your bandages in the right most column of the second row down (slot 8) (this still works for “uneven” bags but the location of slot 8 is off - middle left column of row 3 actually) for me using even bags just makes this easier to find in the cluttered mess my “must-have-with-me” bag carries you know the stuff you need when out in the wilds - food, drinks, health potions, bandages, fishing gear, gnomish jack-knife etc etc.

Come to think of it 28 slots really isn’t enough - I think I could get everything into 56 slots :)

<pauses writing to day dream about 56 slot bags - shudders when realizing for that much room Blizzard would probably want us to use the skin of 3 Elder Gods to make them>
