What an awesome name. It just doesn't get better then this for a hunter enchant name, pretty much the only thing that could possibly make it better is an exclamation point at the end. "Lord Blastington's Scope of Doom!" (with possibly a "mwahaahaha" sound effect" as Frostheim starts shooting bullets everywhere into the sky)

Hopefully they boost this up to make it more like an enchant, since we're loosing our Melee stat sticks!

This might be easier to make than Flintlocke's Woodchucker, as that deals additional damage and 100 more Agility.

Kind of annoying that hunters will only have the choice between Mirino Speculare and Mirino Fatale di Ser Nerofumo. So 10 sec of 1800 agil or 900 crit. At least in cata, you had the choice of perm 88 haste, perm 88 hit, 800ap for 10 sec or 300agil for 10 sec.

In cata your choice was more or less made at max level, but before that it was more your choice. If these are the only two scopes for MoP, you really don't get a choice. Mirror scope then Blastington. Give us choices.

According to Ghostcrawler (Source), the enchant has a 1 PPM, with no ICD on the chance to proc.

Expect to be paying major gold for this scope unless you have a guild engineer or a close friend who engineers. The fact that they made one of the mats for this a spirit of harmony doesn't seem very fair to engineers. All of my LWing patterns (even the specialty one that I purchased with a spirit) require nothing but farmable, tradeable goods, no motes. When will blizz stop hating on engineers?

On the upside, this should be good profit for them if they can manage to farm the motes to make more than a couple of these. It took me over six hours to farm 3 spirit of harmonies (30 motes) from a group of mobs (lvl87-90) that had a relatively high drop rate ~1 mote every 5-10 kills.

You need 54 Ghost Iron Ores for this.
Or 27 Ghost Iron Bars.

Hate to burst your theory on unfairness to engineers. But what you didn't know is that Lwing requires rep to get the best recipes, And when you get rep those recipes cost more spirit of harmony than your little scopes.

6 to make 476 gloves,
8 to make 476 chests,
1 to make leg enchants

Also when you get the 496 stuff it costs blood spirits which are about three times as hard to get depending on your servers raid progression.

I have no idea why wowhead has these listed with a sell price of over 1k ... I can't sell these for 200g buy one get one free in trade chat, let alone on the AH. Hunters just don't want them. They want the living steel weapon chain instead. There's no other use for these scopes except to make a ranged wep that nobody will ever buy either.

Can this be added "attached" to a Long-Range Trillium Sniper even though it's one of the components used to make that gun?

Is this one of the new 'enchants' that will now scale with level? My noob hunter alt would like to know. (for the heirloom bow)

I found my answer but am posting 'yes it is' here for anyone else looking.

As of 5.4: "All permanent item enhancements provided by Enchanting, Engineering, Leatherworking, Tailoring, and various vendors and quests are now able to be applied to items of any level. This means all enchantments can now be applied to heirloom items.
High level enhancements applied to items equipped by low level players have their power scaled down to be similar to enhancements intended for that level range.
Low level enhancements applied to items equipped by high level players do not grow further in power beyond their intended level range."

***re-edit*** You will need to 'attach' any 'high level' enchant/scope etc with a high level character, my noob hunter was not able to do it.

As of Patch 5.4, this scope can be applied to heirloom weapons and used at any level. The effect scales down to a level appropriate for each expansion. At levels 1-60, the proc is 68 Agility. (Tested on live with the Arco d'Ossa Antico Piegato dalla Guerra). You will, however, need a level 85 or higher character to apply the scope to the weapon.

As of 6.02, this grants nothing but 112 attack power. A Mirino a Raggi X Gnomesco grants 200 attack power for the same duration and probably the same proc rate.
