This ring is actually visible on your character and has a "sparkling" animation that it does from time to time. A shame it's currently BoP and cannot be sent to bank alts, but it is an awesome ring nonetheless.

If you happen to have Rituals of the New Moon equipped and currently running around in a big bad wolf form, this ring *still* shows up, and appears on the right paw between the middle and right claw.

I don't know if it's intended or a bug, but now your wolf will look so fabulous!

I agree with above poster RE: BoP, no one is going to want this on their main lvl 85 toon. Make it account bound!

The effect of the Black Ice does stack with the Noble's Elementium Signet. The Signet is the largest flash that goes off first (around the top of the hand) and then right after the Ice will proc directly on the ring. It looks exceptionally cool.

As of the current 4.3 version on the PTR it cannot be transmogrified. There is no slot in the Transmogrification interface for rings.

Crossing my fingers and hoping that one is added in the future. Although it is unlikely, being as there are very few rings that can actually be seen. I'm keeping mine just in case.

Just got this on my orc hunter, and while im wearing it and standing still, it is fairly easy to see. However, if i start to run, i noticed that the ring no longer is on my hand, but rather floating between my hand and my torso. I dont have any other races with it yet, so its rather hard to tell if this is an isolated problem, but it does this no matter the gear im wearing. Anyone else have this issue?

I was really hoping this would be something usable for transmog. but since there is no neck, trinket or ring slot for transmog, it is not. I wanted to deck my mage out in all aristocratic cloth items and a nice big fat ring on his finger. oh well :-)

Folks, this ring isn't transmoggable because, simply, rings dont have texture or model or submodel fields in their item definitions. This ring has a special hidden equip effect which attaches the black diamond model to the hand, rather like how weapons and shields and offhands are attached.

Why vendor this thing? 100G = 1 1/7 weekly heroic dungeons 1/2 a days work of dailies (which takes about 10 min depending on where you're doing them.)

Doesn't seem to appear on Panderian models. sad. :( At least I can't get it to. When I equip I see a quick sparkle up near the wrist....but no model...

It sparkles at the same frequency as the Tooth Pick, and (at least on night elves) you juggle it around your hand if you do a /shrug emote.

Since Ghiaccio Nero is a Toy in Legion, here's a quick guide for it:
Simply enter Zul Gurub on Heroic Mode and right at the entrance Sovrintendente Blingbang will offer the prequestGli interessi della Baia del Bottino. For the quest you have to kill 2 Bosses in Zul Gurub and Jin'do l'Annientadei himself. Since you cant kill Jin'do l'Annientadei directly, you have to kill one Guerriero Spiritico Gurubashi before you start the encounter. Upon reaching P2, pull one Guerriero Spiritico Gurubashi, move to a chain & let the Guerriero Spiritico Gurubashi jump on you. Repeat it 2 more times and Jindo is defeated.
Loot the quest item, complete the quest at Sovrintendente Blingbang and fly to Janeiro's Point near Booty Bay.

New Toys - Old Items Converting to Toys
I figured it's better now than later to start farming the old items that will be converted to toys in Legion. Who knows if they'll lower drop rates or how heavily they will be camped once they're added to the toybox.
I made myself a Google Sheets document to track all the toys being converted and it has the ability to mark off the item once you've found it. With the filters I can then hide any marked off toys. This has really helped me find and track the long list of items and I wanted to share it with the community. I've heavily cleaned it up for sharing purpose, so feel free to use it as you please!

Quick question for people in the Legion Alpha.
For people who had it several years ago and sold it because you can't transmog rings, do we get him automatically as toy because we already did the quest or will it be completely unobtainable for us?
