This pet will be released as the common loot from the WoW TCG Expansion "War of the Elements". The official release date is April 26th 2011.

Facts:

Every so often, when opportunity arises, kills a nearby critter with an Ice Block spell.
Laughs like Kel'Thuzad when he kills a critter or when controller kills a player.

The loot items from this set are:
Landro's Lichling (1/3)
War Party Hitching Post (2/3)
Savage Raptor (3/3)

This item is a re-skin of the BlizzStore item Lil' Phylactery.

FYI. as of patch 4.1 the skin for this pet is exactly the same as the one from the blizzard store. :(

Confirmed: this pet can actually kill the nearby critters by freezing them in ice block and they shooting them with frost bolt

I was pretty excited when I got this in a pack of cards today since I am an avid collector of pets but I'm a bit disappointed. I didn't know anything about it and already having Lil'KT means you aren't getting anything new. So if you have KT, don't worry, you aren't missing much.

Hoping it gets a re skin.

If you do the looking for raid Dragon Soul raid and stay in the group until everyone leaves the group, kill yourself (I jumped off of the wyrmest temple roof) and go back through the portal (in the Caverns of Time) , you should be able to get past the portal. Get your flying mount up and fly onto the roof of the building behind the portal. Dismount and go to the back of the roof where it is black. Get your Landro's Lichling pet out and you should just see the glowing parts. If you mouse over it, it shows the entire pet. I posted a picture on the site so people can see. Enjoy. :)

When it kills a critter or you kill an enemy playes, etc unlike the Piccolo Filatterio it has a unique laughing voice, the "maniac" laugh which is different plus voice of this companion.

I don`t know how relevant this is, but I have this companion and while I was in an auction house, someone kept throwing this bomb inside that made everyone burst into dance(sorry, n00b here. I don`t know what it could be called) but my lichling grew much bigger than his normal size.

I don`t know if it had to do with the bomb thing or what, but he is bigger. I`m assuming he`ll shrink when I go off and do stuff. If anyone wanted to know... ;A;

With how long this has been out I'm surprised no one has mentioned this. I bought a box and received 2 of these. I didn't notice it was unique, so the 2nd was mailed to me by Kel'Thuzad. This is his letter.
