Very little is known about Grim Campfire. (Updates here as information becomes available)
Known Use text:
Use: Builds a grim campfire that isn't going to increase anyone's spirit. In fact, it may creep them out a bit. It does allow cooking, though.
Is likely to be purple fire, see http://static.wowhead.com/images/wow/icons/large/spell_fire_twilightfire.jpg.
Useable at any level and therefore available for twinks.

Grim Campfire comes from the World of Warcraft TCG (trading card game)

How much would I expect to pay for one off eBay or similar?
According to http://www.wowtcgloot.com/grim_campfire.htm (most information sourced from there), the Worldbreaker expansion will release on the 16th of November 2010 and the set loots are Mottled Drake, Grim Campfire, and Landro's Lil' XT. Because the item is permanent expect the price to be around $8 - $10 USD.

This item's cool-down is five (5) minutes and its duration is also five (5) minutes - so it is like having a normal campfire in that respect - and can be kept going as long as you like.

And, as someone mentioned before, this particular campfire can be seen in not only Icecrown but many others places where Scourge occupy, such as the Plaguelands. It's made up of skull and bone fragments and has blue instead of red and orange flame; it definitely has a spooky feel to it, and if you have any sort of obsession with the Scourge, you should definitely think about getting this!

To assuage doubts posed in the posters following me, this item does NOT disappear when you use it. It is reusable. As I have said before, it has a five (5) minute cooldown and a five (5) minute duration, so you can have it up almost continually, like a normal, everyday fire.

If you want to check one of these out in-game, there's one located in eastern plaguelands at coordinates: 29.89,68.77. If you don't have a coordinate reading addon installed look for a broken horde catapult in a ditch west from crown guard tower.

Like others have said, I saw a cave under where Bufo spawns and swam in. There were three things there: This Grim Fire, Chair, and Glinting Sand. I was kind of hoping for some secret easter egg, but it's more of a lame egg. You could have some sort of secret meeting there on an RP server.

With the release of WoD sitting in the chair will make the campfire clickable and it will teleport you to one of the isle east of Gorgrond upper area.

Grim Campfire will be the reward for a Twitch Drops in January 2024.

To unlock it, you must watch at least four hours of World of Warcraft content on any channel with Twitch Drops active to receive the WoW Grim Campfire toy. You also need to have your Twitch account linked to your Battle.net.

To anyone wondering where the toy is, when you have fulfilled the requirements to receive it. You will find it in your toy collection as a gift. For my part, I had no notification that I received it and because I have many toys set as favorites, I didn't see it at first. So if you have claimed it on twitch look at your first toy that is not set as favorite or search "Grim Campfire" in the toy collection.
