Very annoying that it is unique and not unique-equip. This means that you can't loot it if you have it already. Managed to trick it with the vendor buyback trick so I could transfer it to another char. Argent squire is very nice to have around :-)

Just got this drop off a mob during heroic stonecore, trying to sell it for 2k on AH but im not too sure a 325 will go for that but I'll see what happens. This will definitely worth minimum 1k in my opinion.

I just picked one up off a random mob. Saw one in AH for 2k gold, trying to sell mine for 1k, we'll see what happens

I dont know how this thing is selling for ~2k, iv had mine in the AH for days and I only keep lowering the price, atm im at 800g and still cant sell :P Seems not a lota pally/dru tanks in my server lol O_O

Tol Barad farming embersilk off of Restless Infantry in the Restless Front. Halted Clock dropped off one of the mobs.. I had to be out there at least 30 minutes of killing before it dropped.

There is a somewhat well-known image of a clock that was present at the bombing of Hiroshima, which is frozen at the exact time of the bombing. There are also various clocks preserved from Hiroshima in museums related to the bombing. (Google will produce examples if you search for "hiroshima clock" or similar).

Since this item was released in Cataclysm, which opened with Deathwing attempting mass-scale destruction of the world — including major population centers — and the theme of the expansion in general was disaster and destruction, this item is probably a nod to that 'frozen at the moment of disaster' concept, a memento of the initial attack.

At least, I think that's a lot more compelling than "Hey look, a random clock that someone forgot to wind". ^.~
