The flavor text you get from this item reads:

While this elven scroll case is graced with much ornamentation, it is the message inside, written in Darnassian, that is of the most interest: 'Pyramond, under no circumstances are you to spend time with that tavern wench. Your mother and I forbid it. She is far beneath your station.'

This scroll case is also part of the story for Tragedy in Three Acts, a rather touching Romeo/Juliet style story where Pyramond is Romeo and Theleste is Juliet.

After digging up this artifact 3-4 times, I have come to the conclusion that this Pyramond is a scoundrel who enjoys carvotting with females he picks up at the local pub. His parents are pissed that he keeps doing this.
