Silk is a lot cheaper than mageweave. I'd make heavy silks till they grey out

Note that 1 heavy silk bandage is worth more from the vendor than 2 silk cloth. If you don't want to Auction your silk, better to sell the bandages to the vendor than the raw mats.

2 silk cloth = 3 silver
1 heavy silk bandage = 4 silver

Need 180 skill to train in Heavy Silk Cloth, only need 125 to use.

Level 1 twinks can use this for full health in a matter of seconds same can be said for runecloth heavy runecloth and silk bandages.

Goes gray at 240 First Aid.Though last few levels i could make 10 of them and only get 0-1 level.

I had a bunch of silk cloths from doing Scarlet Monastery and not that many mageweaves. It took 535 silk cloths to level from 150 to 240. About two stacks used for silk bandage, the rest used for heavy silk bandages. Very costly to level up from 225-240 this way.

Although the first aid skill was removed with the BFA Pre-Patch, the bandages are still available in the game and can now only be made by tailors. For all other professions the different types of cloth are still required for a couple of recipes. So check your recipes to see if you can use the cloth before you sell it through auction house or to a vendor.
