As a Warrior, I contemplated rolling Need on this token in 4.3, merely for the sake of transmogging the helm.

However, I wasn't going to roll against a Hunter. I have to say, out of the two helms, the Hunter (murloc) helm is amazing and the Warrior helm just ok on its own.

However, I really do like the Earthen Battleplate/Warplate... but Lightning-Charged Battlegear is just one of the most interesting sets to come out in a while.

Something to consider, hunters.

I just got this on my warrior the other day. Went to go and turn it in for the item for transmog purposes of course lol. Lo and behold you no longer need this token for the helms anymore as of 6.0.2 (Current).

With the 7.03 transmog changes these tokens are actually somewhat valuable again. While it's true that you still have to buy the base item (Helm in this case), you then use the token to convert the helm to the heroic version (assuming you still have the base helm, or just bought it) which will have a different color pattern. Then when you check your appearance collection you will have both the base and heroic color versions.

I just got a drop of this in 7.3 in 25H Blackwing Descent and it is no longer quite useless. It now has a "Use:" action, which for my Protection Warrior gave the normal, non-heroic ilvl 359 version of Elmetto Terrigeno. It sells for just over twice as much as the unused token, a whopping 11g and change.
