If you loose your disguise like I did when I was on 'grunt work', you have to abandon the quest regardless of completing it without the disguise on. Getting a new one made didn't work while I was still on the quest but the moment I dropped it I was able to make a new disguise.

It seems to hide your chest armor when playing a Draenei female. Which, for them at least, explains why no one notices such a flimsy disguise.

Fun fact for anyone farming Mithril Ore, this disguise is the perfect thing to use as it makes all themobs at Dreadmaul Hold, one of the best places in Burning Steppes to farm mithril, friendly. This allows you to farm high amounts of mithril more or less as your leisure.

Sadly the quest item can only used in Burning Steppes, can't troll around in the city's

L85 Nelf female going through Burning Steppes, this "disguise" took off my tabard, gloves, and bracers ... but I didn't get the mask. I had helm display off, so I toggled it back on to check, but that just made my helm reappear. Bugged if you don't display helm before using?

Or is it just that good?

When on the quest Lavoro da Grunt you get Travestimento da Roccianera that will buff you with Travestimento da Troll Bruciaspina/Travestimento da Troll Bruciaspina thus making you friendly with Orco, Roccianera. This makes all the NPC from this particular clan friendly to you. Only works in Steppe Ardenti at the Black Tooth Hovel.

This disguise will not fool Hahk'zor and Gorgon'och, the rare spawn ogres in the Dreadmaul Rock area. Fighting/killing them however does NOT remove the disguise, so no worries there.

For Alliance, if you lose your disguise, click on the table next to Thelaron Direneedle and collect the materials for it again.

For me to make one, it was 2-4-2.

If you lost your disguise, then check your bags to use item and see the mobs turn friendly.

If not in your bags, then abandon quest, remove costume buff, click on table for the ingredients, talk to Thelaron Direneedle to get costume, and then use the item . Remember the quest A Perfect Costume ?

You can not get the disguise anymore once you turn in the quest, Locked and Loaded

To get this back, collect the materials from the tailoring table directly to the left of Thelaron Direneedle.
For me, the amount that worked was 3 Hides, 2 Mud, 1 Thread.

I right-clicked on the icon. I don't have a disguise anymore! What can i do?

A friend lost her disguise and it actually became an invisible icon, she found it by searching through her bags and saw the mouseover text when she passed an empty slot. She could use it as normal by right-clicking the empty space, just couldn't see the actual item in inventory. O.o;;

This is post-cata Pandaria so it's entirely possible that's what happened to others posting here. So, check your bags carefully first just in case.

If you accidentally removed the disguise from your inventory, just go back to Chiselgrip and click on the tailors table. Select "investigate the hides" then choose "take three hides" followed by "take two handfuls of mud" followed by "Take one spool of thread" and then talk to Thelaron. Make sure that you have an inventory slot available or you won't get it.

If you need the Blackrock Disguise, head to Chiselgrip in Burning Steppes. Go to Thelaron Direneedle (45,46) click on the table next to him. Investigate the hides, then choose two hides, then choose four handfuls of mud, and then choose two spools of thread. Afterwards, click on Thelaron Direneedle and he should give you the disguise.

Hi Guys
So after While i back to Burning steppes to complete my story line from this zone i was on 3/4 and now i'm level 120

so there is problem i need Travestimento da Roccianera and this is for while ago cant remember what happened to my quest item

so i read so many comment and didn't get answer so try to tell what happen to me!

first of all if you need this quest item to complete your quest go

find Thelaron Agotetro and speak again for each race its different you can find in wowhead your race tip
note:
if you try to get this as a allied race like :dark iron dwarf : check Dwarf part
or lighforge check Draenei
highmountain tauren check tauren and so on .....

so and again there is nothing for me the npc wont speak whit me and do nothing !

So i back to my messy bank I click on search button and search the word Blackrock disguise and i see its there on my back and that's why i cant speak to npc again for new one

this quest item need for some quest like
