If a shaman pops one of these while in ghost wolf they'll get the HP/mana regen buffs without being rooted in place. You can cancel ghost wolf afterwards and use all of your spells/abilities while the regen buffs continue to work.

If you use this and you're a rogue or druid, you wont be able to stealth.

However, If you use this while already stealthed, it won't break stealth. You will be able to unstealth and remain herbed (?) though.

It changes your name on the nameplate that other people see, though not to the same name as the herb you get turned into. I used it and became a Firebloom(model), but my name turned into Peacebloom. Still extremely entertaining.

These are excellent for 75 & upward questing / instancing since they don't have a level requirement, short of the 475 Herbalism (which you can easily get at 75). They regenerate my 76 health & mana pool in about 4 seconds flat and are so plentiful that I can use them regularly.

Combine it with the Flask of Enhancement and you have a pretty overpowered combo for the 75-80 levels :)

I LOVE using these to replenish mana. BUT, I tried one last night while in a dungeon (Vortex Pinnacle) and was not able to leave "Herboflage". I was stuck as a plant. Eventually, I tried leaving the dungeon and coming back in... that worked. I'm going to be weary of using these in dungeons until I hear of a patch fix.

Don't know if anyone else is having this problem, but I'm using the default ui, and when I click off the buff, it sometimes gives me an error and makes the buff unclickable. It happens more often than naught in dungeons.

despite what you may think this can actually fool some alliance into walking right into a trap... a while ago my guild master saw some alliance used the seed and they wandered right over started mining for archeology and then my guild master popped out of herb form and pwned em.

On my boomchicken baby in Reg CoS, running in boomchicken form, used one of these. It dropped me out of boomchicken form, but didn't make me an herb. I had the buff, just the human disguise covered it up I guess.

I have tested it:
If you are a rogue and have the "Glyph of Blurred Speed" which allows you to walk on water. If you transform into an herb while in sprint on water, when the sprint goes away you will STILL be above the water. Plants are immune to sinking i guess XD

Here's a quick macro to cast and cancel the aura. Simple click to use the Lifegiving Seed and right-click to remove the Herbouflage buff. Easier than finding and click off the buff manually.

Love this herb perk, use them constantly instead of food and it's free! Plus turning into an herb is just awesome. One of my favorite things to carry around, heck sometimes I go out herbing mostly to stock up on these for raids XD

So I got extremely bored one day, and started wondering if I could turn into every herb (or herb node) available in the game.
I didn't keep count but I think I blew through at least 500 seeds because I had almost a full herb bag of them....

Personally I felt I got a lot of Kingsblood, Bruiseweed, Blindweed, Fadeleaf, Goldthorn, and Mageroyal, and I always got a kick out of turning into Grave Moss.
Despite the fact that my name turns into Peacebloom every time, I found myself turning into Peacebloom less than 10 times during the entire transformation session.

I had initially thought that I would naturally see every type of herb node by the time I finished all of the seeds.
Yet, in the end, I ended up not encountering any herb (or node) that is native only to Outland or Northrend other than Frost Lotus - and as if it was a tradeoff for Frost Lotus, I couldn't turn into an Arthas' Tears even though that is supposedly native to vanilla Azeroth.

edit: So I have to ask - has anyone had better luck than me on turning into Arthas' Tears or Outland/Northrend herbs?

They seem to have drastically cut the drop rate on these since the dumb Kung-Fu Panda's arrival. In 40 min farming herbs in Uldum today (09 Nov 2012) I managed to pick up a mere 2. Used to get many more. Now lots of Volatile life, but miserably few of these useful items. Loved these on my rogue 'cos they don't break stealth...

It now changes your name to "Peacebloom" (at least that's how your name will appear to you and others until you cancel the effect). Unfortunately, you'll be called "Peacebloom" even if you're imitating, say, Azshara's Veil. :c

This turns you into a random herb and changes your name to 'Peacebloom' regardless of the herb you actually appear to be! You keep whatever title you are sporting at the time - I became the soothingly named 'Matron Peacebloom'.
You gain 3 buffs:
Nourishment - gain 3200 hp per second
Nourishment - gain 2400 mana per second
Herboflage - 'No one can see you now! Or can they?'
You can't move until you right click the Herboflage buff to turn you back into a regular humanoid :-)

I've tried using this as a replacement for food. It seems the regeneration doesn't work anymore. I get the buffs like it's working, but it doesn't actually restore any health.

Not if this has been noted on here yet, but as of patch 8.3, this gives a hidden but extremely powerful buff: when you use it, it heals 308k health per second. Yes, you read that right, essentially a full health bar per second.

I haven't tested to see if it works in combat or in dungeons/raids/PvP, but even if it doesn't, the potential is there for it to be relatively useful doing world content/wPvP. I'm guessing the extremely high value is an oversight of the Legion to BfA stat squish.

Looks to have escaped a stat squish, as at level 89 restores 309k health a second. For emphasis, i have a max of 11k lol.
