There doesn't seem to be any use for this item. I do not know why the quality is white.

Considering it's listed as a quest item, it's most likely that these were added for a quest which didn't make it into the game.

Edit: As of Patch 4.3, no longer listed as a Quest Item. It still has no apparent use, though.

Bat eyes are mark as white but no longer part of the undead quest line it was ended pre cats

I am still getting Bats Eye (white, Quest item) from the Deathknell area Bats. Still doesn't seem to have a use but they are still marked as quest items.

Patch 7.3.5 on PTR still has white-quality Bat Eyes. This is actually my first time seeing them that I can recall (or it's just been awhile). Had to come look them up because I had no idea what they were for.
