This is an excellent axe for a level 19 hunter twink. It has just the stats you want plus excellent burst DPS with Raptor Strike. It drops from Ma'ruk Wyrmscale, a rarespawn in the wetlands. You can find him in the orcish camp just off the road as you pass between the Wetlands and Loch Modan via Dun Algaz. He spawns at the top of the bunker in the camp.

a budget-twink is a basically a wannabe-twink, with second-rate gear and enchants (usually fiery/icey or +wep damage)

In my opinion, the combo that is best for hunters at 19 for twinks is http://www.wowhead.com/?item=5192 with the offhand http://www.wowhead.com/?item=16768 Which is 23 Agility and 100 Health which is godly

Is this axe still obtainable in patch 3.1.3? I have only been able to farm the belt from Ma'ruk so far.

This is no longer in-game.Along with his belt.Ehh, would be a nice axe to transmog, esp for 19 twinks.I get tired of seeing all these Arcanite reapers

This along with massive battle axe of the falcon( gl finding a perfect one back then)
was the best hunter weapon for classic hunter twinks,back when agil gave 2 AP points per, nerfd in BC/WoTLk when intellect and agility both gave 1 point

Has this been seen since 10.1.7? I would assume it was also added back with the many other unique rare drops this patch, but I'm several dozen kills in without seeing the drop. Far more than any other rare I've hit up since the re-additions.
