I cannot emphasize this enough - BRING A MAGE to help you with this quest.
You'll be going through at least a stack of food and water, and not to mention the hellish Curse of the Bleakheart.

Also, be aware (if you don't have a mage) that this curse deals damage every time it procs - and it SCALES WITH YOUR SPELL DAMAGE. So if you're an Orc and are thinking about using Blood Fury, try not to. You don't want this thing to be hitting you for 150 damage every time it goes off.

Pretty easy quest for a feral druid.

Just run around in kitty form grinding the Satyr's. Can remove curse, and cure poison, so those don't hurt much. Pop out to toss a heal every now and then. At level 27 I was killing them faster then they could respawn.

I killed 60 to get my 16. Because the respawn rate is fairly quick, I just stayed in the back on the hill. It is nice to cure the poison (I did as Druid as mentioned above). Also found to kill imps first, so they don't go running off. At lvl 31, it was 3 bars of grinding xp, 1 bar (2700xp) for turn-in, 30 silver, and 250 rep with Darn. Just wish I knew how long it took me.

I believe 90% of people comming at this section most probably got directed by Quest Helper to kill level ~28 mobs and got iced good.

Well, worry not, Wowhead's got your back - as you probably noticed from the posts above, Satyrnaar is definitely not the best place to do the quest if youre level ~24 and squishy as a rogue (in pve). The following might be a better idea:

1) Go to the Night Run, which is northwest of Splintertree Post (across the river and up the hill). Mobs there are ~ level 25 and uses to types of curse - 5 seconds silence (instant cast) and attack power/defence debuff, which is too weak to notice.

2) Kill, loot, repeat. It took me 29 mobs to get all the horns (yes, I was counting), so the droprate probably got boosted in this patch, not much of a headache now, as it was some time ago.

3) If you happen to be a squishy rogue - don't forget to pickpocket the demons, I got 6 "Battered Junkbox" off them - good way to get a couple of skillups while youre at that.

I actually got 100% drop on this,they all dropped...

These appear NOT to be party loot. Most quest items drop for everyone in a party, but for these, there was nothing on the corpse for my 2nd account after the first looted.

Loot was on free-for-all, so it was really obvious what was going on. FFA works fine for other party-loot quest items, like Untainted Spirits for the quest Forest Heart.
