as a 22 Rogue I just made a single pass through the Stonewatch Keep in Redridge and pick-pocketed 9 of them. Surprising to me, they are going for 3G a piece on the AH. Impressive, O.o

I just spent the better part of an hour trying to pickpocket eight of these off the grunts in Razor Hill. Despite what the data on the web page may tell you, they are pickpocketed NOT dropped - at least in Razor Hill. If the comment above about the Redridge orcs is accurate, I'd recommend you do that instead, because at least then you're not dealing with PvP flagged mobs. Aside from the slow drop rate in Razor Hill, I had at least three or four "player issues" I had to deal with while I was trying to gather these pieces.

I carry a few stack of these and i swear to god my drop rate went up a pretty decent amount i get green and blue and purple items alot lot faster now i tell you you should pick up a stack they can be pick pocketed off of of humanoids in thousand needles near the dark cloud penticle around (33,38) <----- in thousand needles

Whatever mobs you elect to gather from, there are some tips that may speed things along, including some macros to automate the process.

In my case, I'd tested the Dragonmaw Orcs in the Wetlands.
I'd selected them because of their large numbers, density, and that they're generally stationary. Any of them can drop the charm. Pocket contents respawn after about 5 minutes. You can sweep through the area, mass-pickpocketing. When you reach the end, run back to the other end, and repeat.

30 minutes of pickpocketing yielded:
Approximately 100+ junk boxes
42 Charms
20 Healing Potions

After enable "Auto Loot Corpse" in the Interface options. You can “drive by” pickpocket, while auto-running in stealth. I'd sweep through the area using a macro. Pass within 2 meters of a target, tap the key to autoloot their pockets.

Another very simple macro kept track of the count of charms. A third helped work through the volumes of locked boxes that came up.

As a Blizzard quirk, the system doesn’t check your inventory for charms, when you first log in. It only updates the icon *after* a change in inventory. New charms will update the icon, as well as just moving an existing charm to another bag slot.

* Macros consisting of "#show " are a nice way to put a counter on your toolbar, for anything. A skinner could have multiple such macros to showing counts of Light Leather, Medium Leather, Black Dragonscales, etc., without needing to review inventory.

Lockpick macro: Use the icon.

Ok ok this is really weird! I ran st like a million times for Firebreather and Atal'ai Spaulders of the Monkey. Never got it. I leved to 50 got a quest for st so I had to go back in there one last time. I pickpocketed Lucky Charm and the Firebreather and Atal'ai Spaulders of the Monkey dropped in the same run along with a two handed blue sword. Im going to keep this with me everywhere I go from now on! = P

Razor Hill Grunts do not drop this. In fact, they don't drop anything. Major Faction NPC's never do, as far as I know.

I personally think these should be dropped and/or pickpocketed from by Leperchauns, but we all know they were driven to extinction during the Second War. That was one hell of a battle... So much leperchaun blood spilled that day, and now I'm a Cereal killer. What a twist!

I believe it became possible to put this in a LWing bag when they patched. previously is sat in my regular bags. I now am also able to put the ZG skinning sword (tiger boss drop) in my LWing bag as well.

The fastest way to get these is to do a Flame Levivthan 10 Run kill every dwarf and trash mob run out reset adn go again

I got 20 bracelets in about 30 minutes.

As in 200 charms.

The pattern on the charm is a hoof....and the Blood Hoof Tauren use that as a crest....soo the Tauren are Celtic...?

If you are seeking these for creating the gloves with the lockpicking bonus, they do still drop, unlike lots of stuff since Cata hit. I have pickpocketed a few from the ogres in Arathi Highlands. So, I think it's safe to assume other humanoids of this level may have a slight chance of "dropping" them via pickpocketing.

And no, they do not increase luck in anyway. I kept these stupid things in my bag when ZG was around, farmed for the Zulian Tiger for almost a year, and never got it.

First I sap the humanoid, next I pick pocket the humanoid and finally I kill the humanoid. It's that simple for me and it can be simple for you too! Just make a rogue (if you already have one made use it), get your rogue's level WAY up, and pick pocket the weak, helpless, non-PvP humanoids! (Side effects may include maniacal laughter, murder sprees, insanity, and/or multiple deaths. I am not responsible for any virtual pain whatsoever.) This has been a message from who cares.

These Charms(2) are a Leatherworker's reagent needed to create Gloves(see reagent for), that increase a Rogue's Lockpicking Skill. When you just need that tiny little "bump," to open those boxes! A "Must-Have," til you're max leveled!

Best place to farm for these is at Grimtotem Post in Stonetalon Mountains.
They can be pickpocketed from both Grimtotem Sorcerer and Grimtotem Mercenary
