Third shaman totem... hardest to get, because you have to travel between the two continents, back and forth.
Can't use water totems without it, takes up one slot... like all totems.
Good luck with this quest, requires patience.... lots of it lol.
Starts in kalimdor, then you have to head to eastern kingdoms... then back to kalimdor... then back to eastern kingdoms.

Yeah but unlike other quests that require a bit of traveling, you can easily ghost wolf this one.

For horde side, I had quest helper. It took me over an hour and a half knowing exactly where I was going and using 2 hearths to go between the continents. Ally side is a walk in the park compared to this.

What should one do, if they have already completed the "call of water quest", but....accidently deleted the water totem? Is there anyway of retrieving the water totem back?

Alliance: You can pick up the low level quest "Relic of the Earthen Ring" in the Exodar. When you hand that in, you get Relic of the Earthen Ring in return for your 4 totems. You then can destroy it as high level as there's no need for it anymore => TADA +4 bagspace!

Sure there's the same quest for horde.

wow, so hard to get, and so useless ... the only thing it's really good for is to add a tiny bit of heal or mana regen...

unless you're a resto shami, in which case you can (occasionally) cast Mana Tide Totem. still, that's one really useful totem. The other three have such cool effects amoung them, it's kind of disappointing that this one is so mediocre.

i need help!
i bought the water totem before the quest in stormwind
Noww i have the final step in it and i cannot complete it because of the another totem and i can't destroy it or selll it

As of patch 4.0.1, it is no longer necessary to complete the totem quests in order to obtain the ability to drop totems. In fact, the questgivers no longer offer the Call of Earth, Call of Fire, Call of Air, or Call of Water quests, and as such, this item is no longer obtainable to people that haven't already started the quests.

However, as of 11/9/2010 if you have all four totems in your bags, you can still complete Relic of The Earthen Ring. If you don't have all 4 and would like to get rid of them to free up some bag space, try submitting a ticket, since the totems can't be deleted.
