You just buy and unstacked item and right click on this and then on the bought item and give it to someone its really cool.

I just wrapped a bunch of random items (mainly follow pets), put on my "red winter clothes," and ran around giving them out in Dalaran. A few people were either afk and didn't hit trade or just didn't want to play, but it was fun while it lasted. I play a gnome. It's a fun thing to do around Christmas.

Thurman Mullby of Stormwind no longer sells this. Lindsay Ashlock in Lakeshire does, if you don't mind making a quick trip to Redridge.

You can indeed wrap at least one mount. I took this item and wrapped this item Dueruote del Mekgeniere which became a Dono con Nastro Blu .The tooltip will say, "<Gift from -your toon's name- >" and below that it will say <Right Click to Open>.

Quite useful for transferring those pesky Braccialetti Portafortuna Amorosi from your super hardcore plate wearing farm toons to your squishy Achievement/Pet/Mount collecting toons. Just wrap em up and presto! You can now mail the bracelets.

I was able to wrap the Vial of the Sands for my husbands birthday, so mounts are wrapable! :)

Alright, I know this has been posted a few different times.. :p. But I like to add helpful information! Okay?
You -cannot- wrap stack-able or unique items.
Yes, you can wrap mounts or pets like the Dueruote del Mekgeniere.

Just discovered today that it seems as if at least the crafted 553 items from tailoring can not be wrapped. For some odd reason I get a you can not wrap bags error...damn blizz and their weird bugs.

It's been noted that you cannot wrap Unique items, but I wanted to add that you also can't wrap the Warlords Crafted items which are Unique-Equipped (3) .. how unfortunate.

Creates Dono con Nastro Blu, with a tag that it was you who made it. These cannot be stored in a Guild bank or sold on the Auction House.

Can't wrap soulbound items, stackable items, unique items, unique-equipped items or for some arbitrary reason, bags.

You can however wrap battle pets, limited duration items such as Barile di Rosso di Dalaran Invecchiato and holiday items such as Braccialetti Portafortuna Amorosi though. Sometimes this makes the item easier to store or mail, and the gift will still be removed as if it were the item, should its duration expire.

The other type of wrapping paper you can buy from most general goods vendors is Carta da Regalo con Nastro Rosso, whereas Carta da Regalo con Nastro Blu, Carta da Regalo con Nastro Viola and Carta da Regalo con Nastro Verde are only able to be purchased during The Feast of Winter Veil from Smokeywood Pastures goblin vendors in all major cities.

Do you sometimes feel like the Horde is given preference over the Alliance? I mean not just some big things, but the little things....
I was looking at where I can buy wrapping paper when it isn't Feast of Winter's Veil yet. Just look at the list.
If you are Horde, the list of General Goods vendors in major cities you can buy it in includes Shattrath City, Undercity, Thunder Bluff, Silvermoon City and Orgrimmar which is nice for the low level characters of the different races.
If you are Alliamce, the list of General Goods vendors in major cities you can buy it in includes Shattrath City, The Exodar, and.... and.... ok
Shattrath and The Exodar, but of course, both of those are so convenient for the low level characters of the different races..... NOT!
