Prone to overwatering when cultivated at home, as it is found only in blistering heat.
Naturally spicy, many dragon whelps eat it to help their fire sacs develop.
Difficult to pick, as it has a very long root designed to go deep underground to find whatever water it can.
Potions made from this herb tend to be very, very spicy.

This herb sells very well on my server, more than northrend herbs mostly because no one wants to farm it and people who buy this want to gain skills fast so they pay just about anything. Btw here in AZ Saguaro's are often uprooted and relocated for new development and the Saguaro will often die in about 5 years because people who uproot them often break the long tap root that it uses to reach far down, this causes it to die, where a Saguaro left alone with live for many many years aslong as its tap root is intact.

Seems to be plentiful in Searing Gorge and especially in Burning Steppes post Shattering.

In the Gnomeregan server, Firebloom sells for 50 per 20 stack.

No matter what server you're on, there is a long line of Firebloom nodes in a small lava river south of the Blackrock Stronghold, in Burning Steppes.

Avoid Dreadmaul Rock. It has a few herbs surrounding it but you won't find any in these fiery trenches. (Atleast I didn't)

If you're just looking to farm herbs that will get you violet/ruby pigment, I highly recommend Burning Steppes, as others here have done. If you're looking for Firebloom specifically, you'll find it in scattered spots throughout the zone, but in particular there are quite a few in the Ruins of Thaurissan area, particularly in the gorge. You'll likely have to get into a slapfight with Firekins, but outside of that it's an easy way to load up on this herb.

I was already in Tanaris, so I thought it would be faster to look for it there than to go to Searing Gorge or Burning Steppes. Now I'm not so sure. It can be found in Tanaris, but it's spread really thin across the zone. Next time I think I'll make the trip to Searing Gorge and Burning Steppes.

They're plentiful along the lava cracks in Burning Steppes; I was able to collect about 5 nodes following a small one, and without any trouble from mobs too.
