Contained only two Resurgent Healing Potions. Very disappointing. Even more disturbing is that since I was online when the bottle ripened, I moused over the new Ripe Disgusting Jar and saw that it had a 30 second duration that was about to time out. If you're not online to open your jar when it changes, do you lose it?

Honestly I'm still convinced that there's SOMETHING worthwhile in this jar that just hasn't been found yet. It makes absolutely no sense that the oracle version of the item would have a mount and 4 non combat pets while this one has nothing but some low level potions. The thing the transforms you into a wolvar would be considered by many to be just as good if not better than a pet. The mount however...

I got the Frenzyheart Brew today on my first jar. It has a 5 min. timer and a 30 min. cooldown(lame!). It goes away when you mount. No special emotes from this guy. I'll keep getting the jars until I get something else that's as cool as this.:P

If that's the way it's gonna be, then perhaps some 4 hour disgusting flasks should be added. Although I'll admit, turning into a Wolver>pets and a mount in my book.
But, we're talking one great item vs. 4 or 5 items on the other side. I suggest we hit up the WoW forums to really let our message be heard.

Opened my jar and got a pair of rejuvenation potions... woohoo.
In a way this is good for those of us who intend to get the Mercenary of Sholazar achievement (exalted with both) as the Frenzyheart having nothing worth farming for, so you can switch to the Oracles as soon as you hit exalted. Whereas if you chose Oracles first you'd likely be sitting at exalted longer than necessary in order to get all of the pets and the mount.

got my Frenzyheart brew the first time. The item doesnt require you to be friendly with Frenzyhear to use so I switched over to Oracles for the pets and the mount.

Lets face it guys, Frenzyheart are just offering a cool haste farming trinket (at exalted ofcourse) and nothing else . 4 pets + mount cannot be compared with the brew. Blizz was really unfair there, unless if they just wanted to make us choose between a trinket and pets+mount. I personally reached exalted reputation with Frenzyheart just to get the trinket and really hoped that the jar would give something cool. I learned about the Oracle egg too late i guess. Imo the jar doesnt give anything special at all but the brew, which is sad... the more i think of it the more Oracles i slay:P

Yeah, the way things are looking now, bliz is gonna HAVE to reveal it, or some people are gonna get ^&*!ed. This is the new Scryer/Aldor equivalent(kinda, minus the NEAR permanent choices), we're gonna see lots of guys gloating on the oracles(as I have already seen:P) rubbing it in Frenzyheart fans faces. Expect to see more GM tickets screenshots with this for weeks to come I guess...

Oh, and stybba, there are dozens of mounts that are in the game files that aren't used, and have been for a long time. For example, the Naxxramas Charger(does not drop in naxx, nor is it a spell used by the guys in DK wing "behind scenes") has been in the game for a long time, under a different name from a long time ago, to be recently changed to it's current name now, and for no reason:(.

Though, one thing I can imagine dropping from this, is the new "riding crops" blizzard mentioned. Can anyone say performance enhancers for your mount fermenting from this?

There's no reason they have to be equivalent. They let you pick, it isn't like Alliance or Horde. The Frenzyheart are jerks.

Why would a pet live in a disgusting jar? That's really unsettling.

Look, you get to look at the quartermasters before you pick. If you want noncombat pets, pick Oracles, if you're a disguise buff (or a jerk that likes picking on Oracles), pick Frenzyheart.

Its sort of like saying all reputation vendors need to give equal rewards. That's just not true. You can choose what to spend your time on.

Actually ıf you paıd attentıon you'd notıce that opposıng factıons (lıke scryer\aldor) do gıve pretty much equal rewards. For scryer and aldor the dıfference between the rewards ıs that they are for dıfferent roles, caster vs melee and so on wıth both factıons havıng two epıcs at exalted, they are pretty much equal. You'd also do well to notıce that factıons that dont have opposıtes (lıke KotEB, Kırın Tor, Wyrmrest.. etc) gıve about equal rewards, they all gıve JC patterns, and an epıc of each armor type, ıf there ısnt an epıc for the armor type the factıons gıve equal epıcs (for example argent crusade gıves a +spell power, haste rıng wıth ınt and stam on ıt.

By thıs logıc, Frenzyheart and Oracles should also have equal rewards, and asıde from the contents (that we've seen so far) from the jar, they do. Both factıons gıve 6 blue qualıty armor pıeces, one blue qualıty weapon, one green and one blue qualıty JC patterns, two types of buff foods (although oracle has one type of food and a potıon that buffs) one epıc trınket, and Jar\Egg.

For me at least ıt seems very odd that wıth such equal rewards that Blızzard seems to lıke ın Wrath, the Egg has a 34% chance to drop a grey, a 62% chance to drop one of the four pets, and a 2-4% chance at a speed scalıng epıc flyıng mount (Whıch ıs one of the coolest lookıng ın game) whıle the Jar has a 33% chance of droppıng useless alcohol, a 40% chance to drop one of three average potıons, and a 27% chance to drop an ıtem wıth a thırty mınute cooldown, that changes your appearence for ten mınutes.

In my honest opınıon, eıther somethıng very rare and very awesome ıs ın that jar, or blızzard needs to add such a thıng to ıt.

Edıt: It should also be mentıoned that beıng able to see the quarter master has nothıng to do wıth pıckıng, as the rewards look the exact same when lookıng at the QMs. (You cant see what the Jar or egg drops wıthout goıng onlıne and lookıng ıt up on wowhead, wowıkı thottbot etc..)

So.

By now there is nothing really "rare" to find in this jar, even the Brew is fairly regular* and judging from other ultra-rare looted items introduced in patches, they have become known within at least two, three weeks after release.
So we can say:

There is nothing more to get from the jar than the Brew
The GM who said there was something comparable to the Green Proto-Drake simply referred to the Brew, either because he was dumb or because he wanted to fool the guy who asked.

This might change with 3.0.8 already (unannounced and maybe disabled on the PTR, so that people don't switch to Frenzyheart already) but for now the Oracles offer both a chance on a very rare mount and four different BoE vanity pets, which yield a lot of income, at least in the first months.

* and not unique, keeping doubles in case they become BoE at some point

I was able to loot my Jar after having switched to The Oracles three days before it ripened.

Edit: I should mention this was during Patch 3.0.3.

I would assume that since the Oracles equivalent contains mostly aesthetic items (pets, mounts), and the Frenzyheart item contains consumables which could, conceivably, alter the course of battle, the missing Frenzyheart item would, could, or might be a trinket which gives some kind of useful stat (gets you drunk, increases attack power/spell power, haste, etc. for 20 seconds), or something like that.

And by this I mean, if something to the effect of such has not already been added, it should. A lot more people would put more value in the Frenzyheart than just a temporary alliance with some wandering invaders.

It would be nice to have the Secret Strength of the Frenzyheart as a more permanent item, even if the permanent version ends up becoming nerfed.

Blizzard if the ripe disgusting jar has a item that compares to the green proto drake of the mysterious egg then why isnt there a comparable drop rate. seriously over one thousand loots of the ripe jar and nothing.. stop pulling ppls legs and just tell them there is no other loot to recieve other then the one already found.. im sure the frenzyheart are gonna be a lonly faction at war with whole servers . seriously you got a better chance of getting legendary swords from bt as a priest in a raid full of rogues, then this "item". Frenzyheart rep .. what a waste of time

If I am exalted with the Oracles, swap to Frenzyheart and then get exalted with them, what happens if I saw back to Oracles again? Do I have to re-raise my rep, or does it go back to the exalted it was before the swap?

I suppose this explains why the popular thinking appears to be go frenzy, get exalted, get your disguise, go Oracle, and never look back.

That's exactly what I did. I want to be oracle overall since there's more to get from the egg. Luckily for me, the Frenzyheart Brew dropped from my first jar, so as soon as I ding exalted, I can switch.

I don't understand why people believe it's unrealistic to have a small pet come from a jar as this. Why does Blizzard have be realistic? It's a fantasy game, and you get polar bears from small bags, and huge proto-drakes from bird eggs!

So if you are hunting those shiny achievement i recomend 1st taking Frenzyheart Tribe and rape the revards (takes ~4 weeks to get Frenzyheart Brew from Ripe Disgusting Jar) and after getting it, then change to collect The Oracles rep. Becose it takes a lot of time and LUCK to get Oracles grand reward.

I actually think it should be the other way around the oracle rewards are better but are only good the first time you get them, eg you get a tickbird once and the next time you get it its basically useless. So you should do oracles first, get everything you need to get, then switch to frenzyheart where you can at least get a nice supply of potions as opposed to nothing at all. Basically, oracles till you get mount, then frenzyheart all the way

The problem with this way of thinking is that the Proto-Drake is extremely rare, and you might not even see it during your time in Northrend. The disguise from Frenzyheart is a lot more common, so getting that and then switching to try your luck every week would be the wisest choice.

The potions you get from Frenzyheart are even far inferior to the ones you should use at level 80.

During the time that you spend farming REP for Honorary Frenzyheart, you should be buying and fermenting these jars.

This is only really important until you get Frenzyheart Brew. I got the Frenzyheart Brew on my 1st ripened jar! It's really fun to turn into a Wolvar when I'm tanking dungeons or raids, it adds something unique to your character and it is fun for everyone else to look at!

Mysterious Egg - Being an egg it can contain a living form. In fact there are pets often. It hatches something. Not casually the pets/mount contained naturally born only from eggs (cobras, birds, drakes). For example, the egg cannot contain a little cat, because cats don't naturally come out from eggs.

Go Wolvar, get your brew then switch to the Oracles, despite the plethora of 'I got my proto drake on my first egg' took me three years for it to drop

One of the items it contains is Frenzyheart Brew wich, since the pre-patch is now a toy box item.

You need to be revered with the Frenzyheart to buy this item though, so for you toy hunters out there go rep that Frenzyheart tribe rep :D

If your swapping from the Oracles beware: don't kill Artruis the Heartless to quickly as a bug will occur and altough you are honoured with the frenzyheart they won't give you dailies. Make sure Zepik gives you a normal quest and not a daily.

~~So make sure you down the lich slowly, I ended up meleeing him down as a warlock with just my fists. D:~~

from what i been reading sound simple to me! I just bring 2 toons too the basin camp 1 frenzy other oracle simple very simple rep both get rewards never have to switch factions, so i can farm jars and eggs all day long i personally like the
potent alcoholic drink from jars !

This comes from Disgusting Jar, which can be bought from Tanak when you're at revered reputation with the Frenzyheart Tribe. It is desirable because it has a chance to include Frenzyheart Brew, a toy which turns you into a Wolvar.

Don't believe the lies. Powerful Rejuventation Potion drops WAY more than 8% of the time (or maybe I'm the luckiest person in the world with like 5 consecutive drops). I'm going on like 3 months of farming jars for the brew with 70% of the drops being potions. I'm starting to wonder if it's more rare than Invincible...
