If you ever find this, DO NOT equip it. Somehow the artifact has managed to remain stable since its creation shortly before Wrath launch. However, being that it is made solely of pure, condensed, solidified raw power, the slightest jostle could cause the extremely condensed item to collapse in its own power, causing a black hole the likeness of which no cosmos has ever witnessed. If you find this, don't even loot it from the package. Simply throw it into the ocean so that none may come across it for eternity.

Many people have asked me if it actually does anything...
I've had to tell them many times...
It shows how awsome I am.....

Then I use my Arcanite Ripper, tell them where to get the trinket,
they do the daily forever and whenever they finally get it.

They ask me once more another question,
"So uhhh... how DOES this thing work?"

gotta love the people that rate your posts. i say this trinket is awesome above because of the name. the stats suck, obviously, because it's a joke.. The name + effect are hilariously awesome, however.

Another coveted, completely useless item. Maybe good for the epic achievement...
But it's awesome. Low drop chance, haven't gotten it or seen anyone with it. Gives a useless, yet awesome, buff. I recommend doing this daily ALOT.
Note: if you're about to run out of time, abandon it and re accept it. You can do all the dailies again afterwards.

So in all honestly though, is this item real. Would Blizz implement an item that, at 0.2%, could more than likely take you till 2029 to get if you did the daily every day? I've gotten the Tlpd, I've gotten the Super Simian Sphere, both of which have dubious obtainments, but for the love of eccentricity, this is picking away my brain. I'm about to just stop doing it completely.

Question: When in a vehicle that is scaled by gear would this item be counted as an item level of 200 epic?

I will never get this one.. Everytime I do the lab assistant quest, there's at least one ingredient that I can't find in the right room and then time's up.

For the daily quest, just make a map of the location of the ingredients. makes it very easy. this badge is really cool

Quick tip if you're planning to farm this trinket like me...

Give up on getting the trinket, make a level 1 alt and collect the distinctive feathers, toe lint/rings and ankle bracelets.

Learn to enjoy collecting them, try to collect as many as you can, I have hundreds of each of them. It's very satisfying. I enjoy collecting them. Collecting them is fun. Collecting them is rewarding. It is worth collecting them. Trying to get the trinket is insane, by collecting the grey items you get a little more sane with every one you collect. I am now VERY sane indeed. Zul'drak Sentinel is my friend.

Before, I looked up this item and it said it had a small drop chance from Patroller's Pack, but now when I check it doesn't say it drops from Patroller's Pack. Anyone know if this item got removed or simply "moved"?

The reason why this item isn't showing up as contained in the Patroller's Pack is because WoWhead resetted all loot info as of patch 4.0.x or 4.1, not sure.

It simply means that the WoWhead looter simply didn't record anyone looting and uploading this item as of patch 4.x.x.

I'd estimate it took me 700-750 tries. I was doing it long before I went insane and started collecting the grey items you get from the packs.

Good luck if anyone is still mental enough to be farming for this!

Been trying for this thing forever. Takes 6 dailies ouch. Was in a convo with a GM on a different matter and he asked me if anything else he could help me with. I said, "yeah, can can you pls confirm to me that the Deputy's Badge drops from the final loot. He took like 10 minutes, but came back with, in troll fashion as I was, "Yeah mon it stills drops but way rare".

After 6 long years of doing the dailies almost every single day, i finally got it on 2015.01.18!

I will submit a pic soon.

I have the looter installed, so hopefully the "Contained In" section will update as well.

Edit: My pics don't seem to have been approved, but my drop was counted for the "Contained In" section, which seems good enough.
