When you can finally make these helpful kits, make tons of em. The mats to make 10 of them cost maybe 2 gold but you can sell them for around 5 gold for a stack of 10. Good way for lvl 20's and low 30's to make some decent gold. Usually sell 10 stack for 4 gold, but ive sold them for 5 gold and even 5g 50s at times.

Armor kits also get the Druid Bear armor multiplier, Eg: 24 x 450% for Dire Bear.

Great for Hunters as the more armor you get the more armor your pet gets. Just create as many as you can and give them to your alts, too.

Even if you don't think its enough armour to be worth the gold all of the time, If you have a peice thats still got up to date +stat, but the armour is weak.....

Weirdly enough I put one in my boots which were lvl 13 -Mystic's Slippers.

I know that their item level is higher, but that "rule" should only go for items that don't require level such as quest rewards/Formal Dangui etc.

A quest reward which you can get at lvl 10, Nat Pagle's Extreme Anglin' Boots, is eligible even for very high level armorkits because of its item level - try putting high lvl enchants on items that require a certain level, a drop, try putting the same enchant in a random pair of lvl 30 boots and you couldn't, because they are lvl 30 (iLvl ~35)

I don't know how the kit worked on the level 13 boots and it requires lvl 15+. But yeah, cool.

recieved the reward from http://www.wowhead.com/?quest=4767 and it seems to work on the BoA heirloom items. Nots sure if its a bug or if the quest reward ignores ilvl.

These are no longer of any use to level 19 twinks, as they require level 20 to apply. They cannot be applied through the trade interface.

Potenziamento d'Armatura Medio is your best bet for twinking (legs).

These no longer seem to no longer have any effect for non-tank spec toons. I used them on my lowbie (ele shaman) and got no armor increase from them.

I did a test after getting to level 20 and getting my leatherworking to 150. I made a heavy, and 3 medium armor kits. I had a stack of light armor kits. My combined armor was 51. I applied light armor kits to all 4 piece. Armor still at 51. Added heavy to the gloves, 52. Added medium to the pants, 53. Medium to the chest, 54. Medium to the boots, 55.

Results of tests: Heavy and medium armor kits function the same (unless this changes based on the item level or character level)
Light armor kits do nothing (again item/character level may have an effect, I'm too new), at least at the level it would be reasonable to use them.

So.... This kit gives my lvl 20 Sacerdote one lousy shocking terrible +1 armour, just like Potenziamento d'Armatura Leggero.
