I have engineering on my tankadin now.
And the main reason why i had it, was so i could have a ranged pull that would not break rogue sap.

Well the Avenger's Shield does that now anyway...

If they do make the AH bot and this Mailbox bot..
It might be enough reason for me not to take up JCing
They had a mail box in the BC beta that never made it out cause stuff was getting lost in the mail.

It states in the description that it takes "bids" that means you won't be able to post auctions in it. That'll limit its usefulness but also makes it more likely Blizzard will keep it in.

If this is the case that will weaken my justification for Engineering over JC
Although i doubt i'll personally make use of it for my own sales anyway (i'll drop it for others)
I make frequent use of the repair bot now. Its use has saved many of my groups from falling apart when struggling with Heroic MgT

Blizzard has stated time and again that they want us to travel back to the Old World for the AH, trainers, and the like. Perhaps we'll just have to go back for trainers? I wonder what kind of frame loss you'd get when going: "Opening an AH in Dalaran." Would be even better if Engineers got a cut of the Auction's cut.

I can see maybe if one or more raid members just bought a flask or other consumable before a raid and forgot to visit the mailbox, you can pop one and save some time instead of having to port and re-summon them.

As for a non-raid use, if someone just can't drop a single item and they must mail something to an alt, using it is an option - albeit an expensive one.

Either way it's another long-dormant item finally getting its due, and the more gadgets we get to make, the better

So I made it and tested it.

Facts:

It IS reusable i.e does not destroy itself on use.
You can mail the mailbox itself, doing so will reset its cooldown for one who received the mail. If you send it back to character you used it with, it will get cooldown again.
After 5 minutes mailbox will just fade away.
It has unique model and does not look like any other mailbox (screenshot submitted)

For those wondering, MOLL-E can be used to send/receive mail by anyone of the same faction, regardless of whether you're grouped with them or not.

The opposite faction cannot use it - similar to how a Warlock's Ritual of Souls or a Mage's Ritual of Refreshment behaves for Horde if summoned/created by an Alliance player, and vice versa.

Judging by your screenshot it is true that the MOLL-E box does not look like any other mailbox, however it is not unique. That same model is used for the gnomeregan quest Essential Artificials.

This is really useful when you have the newly formed "Mammoth gang" in your city while playing the AH. (the "Mammoth gang" has Elekks, one person Mammoth mounts, and three person mammoth mounts and will crowd all the mail boxes in one city for up to half an hour to the point where each mailbox is unusable.) You can simply activate the MOLL-E and voila! you and everyone arround you have a mailbox uncrowded by the "Mammoth gang"

What's truly amazing about this is that it literally gives you infinite bank and bag space. The cooldown is long, but you could mail to an alt, and then mail to yourself consumables you use while farming. Pots, food/drink, etc.

So this basically gives it a dual purpose:
- Unload your full inventory
- Restock items you're low on

There was a short lived bug with this where people could send any item to any character from a Moll-E mailbox, allowing low level alts to receive ridiculously high level items and use them provided they had no level requirement (pretty much all quest gear). Was patched within a few hours, but made it live long enough for people to apparently discover it and exploit it.

Just a note: when casting MOLL-E.. step back away from any large object or you will inadvertantly put MOLL-E inside said large object making it unusable ... found this out the hard way =/

as a side note the scrap bots also share this annoying trait and will completely dissappear inside MOLL-E if you're not careful.

I still think 4 hours is too much. They put it on 24h cooldown, then 8... now (3.2) will be 4. What's the point of dropping a mailbox tool if you can use it every 4 hours? I understand they want us to visit capitals but 1 hour would be more than enough.

One of my alts is an 80 rogue with engineering. I was making a new character, and the last thing I wanted was to run to TB to get my heirloom items in the mail or whatever the nearest mailbox is. So I ran to the starting area, dropped the mailbox, and then logged on my level one and got my heirloom items. Saved me some time with those pesky level 6 wolves.

Since we all know Blizzard needs to buff Engineering even more, they should make MOLL-E periodically send out a pulse that knocks everyone back a few yards.

You know why. Damn Tauren and their mammoths. I put one down in Grizzly Hills the other day while doing the PvP dailies there, and one came up attempted to smother it. You'd think mailboxes in not-Dalaran would be safe, but no.

when summoning your P.O.S.T.A., don't bring it out on a boat, wait before you get on, or after you get to your destination. it disappears similar to when you're mounted and it zones from where it's leaving. ie; SW to NR, and it's CD doesn't reset. don't know if anyone tried this, i just found out the hard way :x

Wow chill out rambaral you have been here since day 1. Big deal! He was just pointing out that it's useful. If you want to get your mail or recieve mail and GO OUT ABOUT YOUR BUSINESS it's useful for those blocking the mail. He didn't mean that you are supposed to try to "SAVE STORMWIND" and help EVERYONE recieve mail. You can just open it up in a secluded area if you like where they won't see you and get your mail and go about your business. It only lasts ten minutes anyway so it's not like he would lose his spot on the main or ask another mount to go run and sit on it for ten minutes. Geez

Below is a summary of various ways to access a mailbox remotely

P.O.S.T.A. per Tutti Location: Anywhere	3 hrs.	5 mins.	Bind on Use. 3 charges. Can be auctioned or traded. Can be used by anyone, of any level. Obtained in your Level 2 or 3 garrison Engineering Works building if a follower with the Ingegneria trait is assigned to it (e.g. Kimzee Brillabotti). Once used, mailbox can be accessed by other members of your faction. Shares a cooldown with P.O.S.T.A.. This item is Unique from other Engineering Workshop Items. This means out of all of the items available from a follower at the Engineering Works, you can only have ONE in your inventory at any time. These items are: - Riflettore Ultra Elettrificato - Riflettore Giroradiante - Walter - P.O.S.T.A. per Tutti
Peone d'Argento (H) OR Scudiero d'Argento (A) + Briglie del Pony d'Argento Location: Anywhere	4 hrs.	3 mins.	The pet Peone d'Argento/Scudiero d'Argento is obtained as a quest reward after becoming a Champion at the Argent Tournament. The Briglie del Pony d'Argento is available for 150 Sigillo del Campione from Dama Evniki Kapsalis at the Argent Tournament. Using the Briglie del Pony d'Argento "upgrades" your gruntling/squire, allowing access to ONE of the following every every 4 hours: - Mailbox - Vendor - Bank The option you select is usable by interacting with your gruntling/squire. Selecting any one option makes the other two unavailable until the 4 hor cooldown has passed. Whichever option you choose each time is available to use for 3 minutes, after which access ends. Once used, mailbox can only be accessed by you.
Sacerdote dell'Artiglio Ishaal Location: Draenor only	None	Unlimited	The follower Sacerdote dell'Artiglio Ishaal is available after completing Tra l'incudine e l'Arakkoa/Tra l'incudine e l'Arakkoa (finishing all quest storylines in Guglie di Arakk). Ishaal has the Guardia del Corpo ability, and can be assigned to the garrison Caserma Livello 2 to act as your personal bodyguard. After doing this, killing mobs that grant experience will provide reputation with Sacerdote dell'Artiglio Ishaal; upon reaching the third level of reputation (Personal Wingman), this follower grants the ability Bonus di Ishaal - Corvo del Corriere, allowing Mailbox access while in Draenor. Mailbox access via Sacerdote dell'Artiglio Ishaal is only available to you, and only when Sacerdote dell'Artiglio Ishaal is with you. Imp Insolente Location: Draenor only	1 hr.	1-2 mins.	Honorable mention, as not consistent or reliable! Drops from rare spawn Maestra degli Imp Valessa in Tanaan Jungle (35% drop rate). Only useable in Draenor. Bind on Pickup. Requires Level 100. When used, will summon an imp that will RANDOMLY do one of the following things: Grants Personal Bank access Grants Guild Bank access Grants Transmogrifier access Grants Void Storage access Grants Mailbox access Offers a teleport to another location (a RANDOM choice of any of the locations in Draenor that Centrifuga del Tunnel Spaziotemporale can take you - including high up in the air!) LEGION ENGINEERING TOYS

Most Engineering Toys are Bind On Use. While their schematics are fairly easy to get, you can also have another Engineer craft them, or they can be purchased on the Auction House if someone happens to be listing them.
A few more notes:

You DO NOT need to be an Engineer to learn the profession Toys and add them to your collection! You need to have Engineering of the appropriate skill (and Goblin or Gnomish specialization, if applicable) to USE the item from your Toy box.
The above is useful to know if you are gunning for achievements like Ricorda di condividere (which rewards the mount Estrattore di Legna Meccanizzato), as you do not need to be able to use the Toy for it to count for such achievements.
Many of these profession Toys are "hidden" in your Toybox until you learn them - you will not see them, even if filtered for Toys you have not collected. This may throw you off if you are using the Toybox as a guide for what Toys you have not obtained.

Below is a list of teleportation devices that have become Toys as of the Legion pre-patch.

New Toys - Old Items Converting to Toys
I figured it's better now than later to start farming the old items that will be converted to toys in Legion. Who knows if they'll lower drop rates or how heavily they will be camped once they're added to the toybox.
I made myself a Google Sheets document to track all the toys being converted and it has the ability to mark off the item once you've found it. With the filters I can then hide any marked off toys. This has really helped me find and track the long list of items and I wanted to share it with the community. I've heavily cleaned it up for sharing purpose, so feel free to use it as you please!

The Aria Cristallizzata needed to make the Aria Eterna can be farmed very efficiently off the Tempesta Rabbiosa mobs in Borean Tundra.

And you can dip into Sholazar Basin for the Saronite while you are there.

ULTIMATE WOW INDEPENDENCE UTILITY GUIDE.

RACE - MECHAGNOME:
Mechagnomes are small visual targets for PvP, just like regular Gnomes.
1. Skeleton pinkie - lockpicking (no need for rogues).
2. Mastercraft - personal anvil, cooking fire, forge + all profession tools.
3. Hyper Organic Light Originator - a worse "Mirror Image" with threat reduction. Good for PvE escapes.

CLASS - MAGE:
Powerful DPS with a "tank" pet if Frost spec (powerful PvP spec).
1. Invisibility - useful to flee, unaggro, scout or pass by NPCs and players. It's not Stealth, though.
2. Remove Curse - removes curses (useful against Warlocks).
3. Spellsteal - steals usefull buffs.
4. Mirror Image - useful for escaping PvE and sometimes PvP.
5. Ice Block - protects from damage.
6. Blink - removes movement impair and if used in time, avoids fall damage. Plus can leap gaps.
7. Slow Fall - magical parachute for self and others.
8. Conjure Refreshments - free food for self and players.
9. Teleport and Portal - major cities and places, including Ancient Dalaran (useful for Ally)

7. Formula: Enchant Gloves - Angler - + 5 fishing enchant for gloves.
8. Hook of the Master Angler - you become a fish, swimming faster and breathing underwater.

D-) Cooking:
1. Can make individual and collective food for self and players, some of which have buffs that give Well Fed.
2. Cooking fire gives Spirit and it's cool to wait around for people.

Noteworthy items and recipes:
1. Chef's Hat - cooks faster.
2. Recipe: Thistle Tea - rare item, since only rogues can purchase now. Recovers energy.

E-) Archaeology:
1. Discover rare items with useful and/or fun utilities.
2. Discover gear and mount recipes, such as Vial of Sands, craftable by Alchemists.

Noteworthy items:
1. Headdress of the First Shaman - essentially a Shaman's Far Sight. Good for scouting.
2. The Last Relic of Argus - random teleport.
3. Sanguinating Totem - health leech every 1 min 30 secs. Essentially a Warlock's Drain Life.

I keep getting this bug where I put down a mailbox and then it immediately disappears. happens in open world, in the city (I'm lazy), and I'm lucky if I can pick up a single piece of mail before it disappears
