Dizzy's Eye drop from all Bloodsail's, it has a very low drop rate (around 1%) though and will probably take long. The Bloodsail's are mostly south of Booty Bay. Go right when you exit Booty Bay from the tunnel, and you'll reach the beach soon.

this quest is great when coupled with "up to snuff"

they both have horrible drop rates and they both drop off the same mobs, and you're more likely to get this before you finish "up to snuff"

looks like the drop rate is quite random, I did snuff already, that had quite a nice drop rate, but since then I have killed about 50-60 mobs and haven't got the eye yet.

Went straight to Brutus, killed him and the eye dropped. Seems maybe they've changed the drop rate.

Went towards beach and first Bloodsail Mage I killed dropped the eye... Not as bad as it seems DRate 1-1 (100%) Good Luck!

Dropped in about 10 kills. Good grinding, easy kills, drops cloth. I did Snufff, Dizzy's One Eye, and The Bloodsail Buccaneers at the same time.

Don't be fooled by the 10% on Brutus. It's at least 90% for him. Don't waste your time, like me, killing literally hundreds of bloodsails before trying Brutus. Go straight to him. I used all my cooldowns, just because I could, but I definitely didn't need to.

I should be one of the luckiest ones to do this quest, as it dropped from my first kill (a L41 Bloodsail Mage) after I got the quest. I wasn't even planning to do it at that time, in fact I wasn't even planning to do any quest. I was just trying to earn about 1000 exp to level up. Damn.

Got it from Bloodsail Elder Magus, as second kill. I think its totally random since on my other character i used more than a half hour without any luck.

definitely NOT a 100% drop rate for this mob.
just killed him 5 times, still no eye.

If you want to rush this quest and think youc take on Brutus Just track Captain Stillwater..... That will lead you right to the boat and Brutus is driving from the top lvl..

It didnt take me long to get Dizzy`s eye, i blew a few kills on the Blood sail mage and the warlocks and the subchief and I got it, took me about 10 minutes.

i could take on brutus if i worked hard enough im lvl 46, well i might squeal if i nodise e was like down a hall with bad npc's down the hall like Scarlet Monastery!

Just to verify, I've done this quest on 3 characters now and Brutus has dropped it each time on the first kill.

This dropped for me on about the 15th mob I have killed. Go on the boats to, there are plenty of mobs there that dropped the eye.

I did it at lvl 80 cause i am shootin for 10 Exalted 10 w/ Dark Spear Trolls.

Okay so everyone said go straight to Brutus. I was on my way TO Brutus and not even on the ship and got Dizzy's Eye to drop.

I'm trying to get my Eastern Kingdon Achievement. Right now working on Cape of Stranglethorn Quests. The Bloodsail are green to me and I can not kill any of them to get the eye. Blizzard is no help it just refers me to Wowhead. Frustrated. Any suggestions out there?
