I like to think I'm pretty open to trying new foods. But "gooey spider cake" just sounds all kinds of unappetizing, I gotta say. Ew. :(

On the contrary, the Gooey Spider Cake is NOT a lie. In fact, it is right here - in wowhead, in the list of cooking recipes, in your mind, and in your character's mouth. It has always been in our world, even before it entered existence as we know it.

It has no allegiance nor mercy; it will nonchalantly shatter your dream of it being a lie and readily answer the call of any chef which has the might to cook it.

It is not, as you might have understood by now, an ordinary cake. Omnipresent, defying and made of spiders; this is the embodiment of your purest dreams and deepest nightmares.
