As soon as you hit 115 Switch over to making heavy wools, light wool barely does more than heavy linen, but linen is cheaper.

When you hit 150 switch over to silk, its cheaper and does more healing than heavy wool.

Note that 2 wool cloth is worth more from the vendor than 1 heavy wool bandage. If you don't want to Auction your wool, better to sell the raw mats to the vendor than the bandages.

2 wool cloth = 66 copper
1 heavy wool bandage = 57 copper

Although the first aid skill was removed with the BFA Pre-Patch, the bandages are still available in the game and can now only be made by tailors. For all other professions the different types of cloth are still required for a couple of recipes. So check your recipes to see if you can use the cloth before you sell it through auction house or to a vendor.
